To the nurse (Deb) who told my friend to cover up nursing her newborn today- Today you just showed mothers all around that breastfeeding is something that is still a struggle for moms to do in public in 2017. My friend was in the urgent care today with her husband dealing with some very scary, breathing/heart issues and was getting treated very well for his care and everyone is very appreciative of that. BUT a nurse named Deb approached my friend who was breastfeeding her newborn and told her that she needed to cover up because she could make people uncomfortable, THEN proceeded to use her hands to move my friend and her baby out of the way! In the state of Iowa my friend had EVERY right to be breastfeeding her daughter in any area of that urgent care at any time of her husbands stay. She was not topless.. she was not "showing too much"... she also was not approached or being looked at rudely by people giving her the "I am uncomfortable" look. It seems the only person who was uncomfortable with an infant nursing was Deb. Sexualizing an infant nursing is disgusting. She either eats and is calm and quiet so that my friend could tend to her sick husband... or she doesnt nurse the baby and the baby screams and makes people upset. I see a lot less harm in just quietly nursing her child and her caring for her husband... which was the task at hand, NOT worrying about someones boob.

maclovio lopez were you working? The nurses, doctors, and staff needed to run that clinic and urgent care often work 6 to 7 days a week 50+ hours a week. After youve gone home and the clinic is closed they are still there working making sure that you get the best care they can give. They are humans not machines and they too deserve the chance to recharge, even if its a holiday youd rather be working. This us the vest family practice and urgent care I have ever gone to. They are thorough, knowledgeable, caring and empathetic. I live a hour and a half away and still this is my first choice.

Service at this facility has gradually deteriorated over the last 18 to 24 months. Most of the doctors are very good, and the nursing staff is average. The office staff is slow, belligerent and inefficient. I realize they often have to deal with less than pleasant patients. But an AVERAGE 1.5 hour wait during non peak hours (which my family or I have experienced numerous times) is inexcusable. This location needs to expand their Doctor and nursing staff, and retrain (or replace) their office staff.

I waited 3 hours for nausea, vomiting, and a list tooth filling due to the vomiting. I was given nothing, not even antibiotics for the infection in my tooth. To be more specific I was told to visit an emergency room. I was trying to avoid that which is why I went to the urgent care clinic. I respect medical professionals more than I can express but there were no professionals here.

The wait times are just unacceptable! We have been waiting inside the doctors examination room for over an hour now. The doctor who was supposed to see us, left for the day without notification and the next doctor is nowhere to be found. Hardly what is expected from "Urgent care"

Think that its stupid that no clinic is open on Labor Day, that in my opinion shouldnt even be considered a holiday. now I have to take my daughter to the hospital and pay more than if the clinic was open.... I mean people do need to see a doctor anytime. Including holidays!!!
