Watch your bill! They will promise discounts to get you to spend money and then not credit them on your bill!!! Paid for a new pair of glass (with insurance) and a new pair of lenses for existing frames (out of pocket) - nearly $800 paid in advance. Glasses were never ordered! I waited three weeks and then called to check on them - and was told by the staff that I had not been in the office since last year! When I mentioned the charge to my card - they were finally able to find my visit and this is how it was discovered that the glasses had never been ordered! If I hadnt called Id still be waiting! When I questioned the promised discounts on my bill, I was met with snarky comments from the staff - and after two phone calls, and two visits regarding my questions, they only extended an apology for the "confusion" after leaving a negative review on their Facebook page. Ive paid nearly $1,000 (upfront fees + billed services) and was still planning on ordering contact lenses. Those will definitely be purchased elsewhere now!

Ive been to many optometrists/opticians in our area over the years. Once I found Urbandale Optical, its never been necessary to consider going anywhere else. They have frames to fit any budget, at the standard price, and do a great job fitting and following up on care. My teenage son is very picky about his glasses. He really appreciates their help. Gwen has helped us most often, but everyone has been great.

I have known Dr. Dennis for some time as his neighbor, recently I found myself in need of a new pair of bifocals and wanted to give him my business. The service is excellent and I have no reason to go elsewhere. Dennis please continue to plow my driveway and not laugh too hard as I ride my scooter up and down the cul-de-sac.
