Approximately 2 months ago, one of the home health nurses came in to tend to my mother in law. This nurse (i didnt get her name) was in her 40s with light blonde hair and rude as ever to my mother in law. She was to dress a surgery wound for her. My mother in law was asking question and the home health nurse was barking at her to be quite while she dressed the wound and then she would answer any questions she had. After this my mother in law was feeling embarrassed almost humiliated in her own home. But that was just he start of this awful behavior of this nurse. The nurse said she was in a hurry because she had to get home because she was meeting up with her boyfriend for dinner and did not want to be late. it was about 4:00pm at the time. My mother in law ask questions of the nurse and the nurse said maybe I just need to provide you with a list of instructions and information. So I will bring that back with me on my next visit. The nurse never answered any question that my mother in law had! Patient education should be a top priority, especially if they only get to see a home health nurse once a day/every other day! This nurse with Above and Beyond was beyond "pathetic" and I can only imagine that the entire operation runs much the same. It take ore to look good to your State, Community and Patients. You actually have to perform and have your performance be superior. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY AS A CHOICE TO CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES!
