Had Dr. Prasad perform a procedure while at Mercy West. He discharged me with an antibiotic that I had an allergic reaction to. Called his office to explain the situation and they wanted to talk with him before deciding what to do. After 3 hrs of nothing return phone call I called back and was told to just waiting for my follow up visit the next day. Showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment and still waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Just to have him tell me I should see my normal physician about the reaction I was having. His place of practice seemed more of a back ally garage than a clinic. Pretty sketchy experience all together, definitely stay away!!!

Each time I walked out the doors to this office, I regretted going in them. Not only did this "doctor" open the appointment room door before I was off the table and dressed, he kept it open and left without even looking at me or checking to see if I was still nude. This guy also made me go to a surgery center that he directly owns and gave me no notice that I could have had my operation done at a closer more affordable location not owned by him.. thats collusion. Its illegal in Iowa to do this. Very unprofessional; I trust doctors less single handily because of my interactions with Mr. Prasad.

Awful! Dealt with infection for months. Dr. Prasad kept presribing the same antibiotic over and over. Told me to cut my incision open if I felt comfortable to release pressure. Finally had to go to emergency room after 2 months and found out it was staph infection and the antibiotic he gave me would never had worked. I had asked for a culture the second time I went in and he said it wasnt necessary. Hospital staff and another dr. Apologized for him and said I should have never had to endure that.
