I do like Dr. Killen and Jody they are friendly and do spend a good amount of time with you in order to diagnose your problem. When I have needed refills, they call back right away which is nice. Just be ready for Ann the receptionist, she is extremely rude and makes it seem as if youre bothering her when you arrive. She has the worst attitude I have seen in a business office, which is unfortunate. I referred a friend and they actually chose against going because of the attitude she received on the telephone on her first call into the office. I do hope Dr. Killen reads these reviews about her so that he can have all positive reviews! As they say, one bad apple....

I was looking for a dr. that I could feel comfortable with and who would be a no nonsense Dr., getting right to the issue and finding a solution. Over the past several years, that is just what I got. I have had some interesting health issues, and in every case, Dr. Killen was able to find a solution, sometimes with meds, sometimes by referring me on to a specialist. He is not afraid to do that, which I appreciate. He is very personable, relaxed, and makes me feel like I am the only patient he has. He gives the time needed. If you are looking for a Dr., Dr. Killen might be a good choice for you. He was for me.

In previous visits, I experienced some of the abrupt and impersonal banter from one staff member, like others have mentioned in their reviews. But on my most recent visit, everyone was very pleasant and chipper. Dr. Killen has always been great and is the ONLY reason I put up with the poor front-end service that I occasionally experienced. UPDATE: No problem with the good doctor, but I am annoyed that their phone system often says they are closed, during regular business hours. I suspect their office staff "forwards" the phones when they dont want interruptions from those pesky clients.

Brookside Family Medical is a class act. Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The staff is efficient and kind. As for Dr. Killen, he is also very low-key, knowledgeable, and personable. I used to be extremely anxious going to the doctor, but that has changed since coming to Brookside Family Medical. I havent had contact with Dr. Mowry, but I am sure she is equally as personable. In short, the whole experience is efficient, low-key, and pleasurable. They get it and for that I am extremely appreciative.
