This doctor has a thick accent, and is a little hard to understand, but we got through it ok. I waited about 3 wks for a first appointment to establish my son with her. I did not wait very long after my arrival before being seen. The clinic was quiet and clean. Ladies at the desk were polite to me and check in was fast. About a month after his first apt, I dropped off some paperwork to have the dr fill out regarding my son attending an adult day care. I waited almost 2 weeks before the papers were ready. Just like 3 papers of basic info, nothing too complicated. I requested the doctor write a letter to exempt him from TB testing, and the receptionist told me the dr would not write it. After meeting my son, I think it should have been very clear to her that there was no way he could have complied with the testing. I do not understand how she thought he would be able to do the testing, and why she did not write an exemption letter. An exemption letter for the test is very common according to the day care. She also had access to his previous dr (also a Mercy dr) whom he has seen for the last 19 years. She could have contacted him with questions if she felt unsure about what to do, or even called me. Very disappointed in how the whole thing has turned out. If you are just needing an average dr, she may turn out ok, but I had the feeling she was a very new, inexperienced dr. If you have more complicated issues to deal with, or need personalized paperwork frequently, this is not the place to go.

Unfortunately, this was the worst experience Ive ever had visiting a doctors office. I am new to Springfield and was lost when trying to find my way to the office (called ahead and told them I am lost and got directions 30 mins prior to appointment). Showed up at 9:16AM and was told they couldnt see me since I was more than 15 mins late (appointment was at 9) and calling ahead didnt excuse that. There were only 2 people in the waiting room. Very frustrating to wait 3 weeks for an appointment and be dismissed without a care. I will not be setting another appointment with this office.

Terrible service. Terrible people. would rather die than go back here again. Waited for three hours to see some guy who didnt have a clue what he was doing come in and talk for five minutes and tell me nothing. Then they screwed my bill up and charged me 6 months later. They are incompetent, lazy, and not worth your time. Trust me. Insurance or not go to the ER instead...
