We moved to the area a few years ago and I noticed State Line Animal Hospital on my drive to work and decided to give check them out as our pets new primary vet. Our first visit was really encouraging, and Betsy talked to me about local concerns and recommended vaccinations. Since then both of our dogs have received all their care at State Line. This includes a few urgent care visits, and I couldnt be more pleased with how everything was handled and turned out. One of the things I love most is the boarding/day care option because I know our pups are in good, familiar hands when we go out of town or when they just need a day of socializing. It also makes scheduling check-ups and vaccinations very simple; if I dont need to be there with them for the visit, I can drop them off in the morning and pick them up at lunch time or after work. I get a full review of the vet visit, the dogs get some extra social time, plus I dont have to fit the appointment into my schedule. Everybody wins!

This animal hospital is reasonably priced. My animals are happy and confident when they come here. They LOVE their vet. This office also doesnt push vaccination for the sake of vaccination. If an animal is elderly or they believe that the animal might actually be harmed by the vaccinations, they will advise against it. Our cat sees Dr. Faerber. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I forget which vet our dogs saw last time they came, but my dog was happy and confident while she was there. She is normally terrified of the vets office. They also have a seperate building where they see the cats, so cats who are fearful of dogs dont have extra stress on them when they come for appointments. This vet office also has a doggy daycare AND a rescue they run. All the animals ive seen in their rescue are happy, healthy and confident.

We moved to KC recently, and have searched for a while for a good vet. I havent had the best experience with some vets before so I was very picky with who I decided to take our new puppy to. I am so glad we chose State Line Animal Hospital. They have treated our puppy better than I could ever have asked for. Everyone from the front desk, vet techs, and vets (we see/love Dr. Abby Faerber) are all wonderful people who truly treat your animal like their own. We also boarded our puppy here for a week, and she loved it! I love that they are honest and dont see your animal as another dollar sign, they truly just want the best for them. For anyone who wants a vet who goes above and beyond, State Line is for you!

Ive worked in the veterinary publishing field, so I feel rather confident in my ability to judge veterinary services. And the staff and doctors at State Line Animal Hospital are unparalleled. They have helped me with brand new puppies and gently consoled me as I said goodbye to my dearest furry friends. Be it tricky medical cases or a simple check-up, you are in good hands. Dr. Otte and his team are knowledgeable, personable, professional, and above all else, KIND. They go out of their way to help strays in the community. After the loss of your pet, you receive kind notes in the mail and donations in your pets name. This talented crew? They become part of your extended family.

Since 1996, I have brought my furry kids to Stateline Animal Hospital. When I first moved to Leawood, 20 years ago, I decided to trust Stateline Animal because the "City Of Leawood, Kansas" trusts this hospital. All of the care for my dogs, including grooming and boarding, is provided by this hospital. The support staff is friendly and the doctors really do care about the pets they treat. They recently expanded their care to include acupuncture. Now that my little female pup is 8 years old, acupuncture in the next service on the list for her overall care. Thanks to Dr. Sally and staff for their services. You can trust them!!!

Weve taken both of our dogs here for four years. When we began looking for a vet, the resounding recommendation from a relative and family friend was this clinic. To say we feel theyve gone above and beyond for our animals is an understatement. Both of our dogs have had complicated health issues, so we have been, from time to time, frequent clients. Their staff is top-notch and weve seen them bend over backwards in order to help our animals and to make us feel comfortable. Theyve even helped me rinse out my car after an accident happened before we arrived!

We have taken our pets to Dr. Otte and Dr. Jones for many years. They have done so much to care for and save several of our cats. I have seen many abandoned, neglected and abused animals nursed back to health by their amazing staff. We were fortunate to adopt one of their rescue puppies, Sam. Thanks to their dedication and commitment, he is a happy and healthy addition to our family. While Sams story is incredible, it isnt unique here. You know you have found a great vet when your pets actually like going there!

State Line Animal Hospital is a great facility, with caring doctors and staff. Weve happily taken our pets here for nearly 10 years. Today we took our two cats to their new feline-only center, across the street from their main office, for their wellness checks. This new addition was quiet and peaceful, and our cats have never been calmer at any veterinary clinic. I brought a dog with cancer here for a clinical trial. And even tho the drive from St. Louis was a bit long it was worth it. During one trip I had to bring my other dog who had developed a nerve injury in his back and they were very accommodating helping me to manage both dogs, and even treat my other guy with the back problem. Thank you so much for such great care and for taking the time to do procedures at the speed and with the patience my Jack Russell needs.

State Line Animal Hospital is full of amazing doctors and wonderful staff. Everyone is very friendly and are great with animals. They offer not only normal veterinary care but also Acupuncture and Chiropractic care for animals. I can honestly say I was a bit skeptical at first but after a treatment to both of my dogs I saw amazing responses. They are doing awesome now and I credit the wonderful care they received at State Line Animal Hospital.

Our dogs have been taking us to State Line for eleven years now. Theyve all loved it.... well, except Abby who was a real home-body. Anyway, the docs are all great; the staff are wonderful; and its always fun to see puppy play day. Dr. Sally just helped us adopt a new pooch, who is probably much smarter than we are, but is slowly deciding to let us be the alphas. Well see how that turns out. State Line is terrific.
