MY FEELINGS ARE HURT. I moved to the area 1 1/2 years ago and thought Paws & Claws was the place for me and my dogs. I have a large dog and a small dog who have both been there. My large dog had one bad visit where he barked at the nurses (he had been there previously with no issues) and I am now treated like an outcast. During my last visit, the nurse pushed boarding like a used car salesman. This was offered during his bad behavior visit, yet, when I tried to board my dog a week later I was informed he can never be boarded there because the staff fears him. My dog has never bitten anyone and he only had ONE bad experience there. I really thought this was the place for me but I am saddened to find out that my dog never had a chance with them. They have never even taken the opportunity to try him for a few hours to get him used to them and I have offered to be there to help. There must be a reason why 3 out of 4 of them are holding cats, not dogs, in their profile pics.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!! My family and I have had pets all my life, and we ALWAYS are very particular about who we take them to see. We stay on top of their regular checkups and we have definitely had our share of emergencies. This is the 4th vet that any of us have ever been to, and I have to say it was the best visit we have ever had. Pricing was very fair and they had no problem letting me know how much it would be when I scheduled our appointment. They were so patient and gentle with my little baby pomeranian, made both of us feel very comfortable. Dr. Hall and her staff (I believe the ladys name was Michelle?) were VERY friendly and answered all of my questions in an understandable way. Very professional staff, clean facilities, comfortable environment, very reasonable pricing, friendly cats that like to snuggle while youre waiting!

PLEASE for the sake of your animals and yourself, get a second opinion. Dr. Hall was always incredibly nice and good with my cat, on our second visit we decided to do a blood panel just to make sure things looked good (no signs or suspicions otherwise). Three days later I get a call from a receptionist who says "yeah your cat is in renal failure, Id say she has about two months or so." No explanation, no next steps, I had to call back to explain how unprofessional she was to me while crying hysterically. On a hunch, I chose to get a second opinion - it has now been almost two years. I was told by that office that administering subcutaneous fluids at home was illegal - thats a lie. I was told based on BUN and creatinine levels that my cat was dying - also a lie. Nice doctor but for your animals sake, go elsewhere.

The staff at Paws and Claws have become part of my family. With three dogs, I am contacting them weekly sometimes, but they are always attentive and willing to accomodate whatever needs we have. Dr. Tony took extreme care to diagnose and treat my terrier when she developed a serious infection, and Lauren patiently taught me how to "nurse" her at home, including force feeding. They never treat me like I am just one more patient. They show concerns for my pet as well as me, taking into account my lifestyle and emotional needs. I dont know what I would do without their concern and support.

Ive been taking my dogs to paws and claws for years and have always had a fantastic experience. They treated me like family and the boarding is extremely affordable. Even when my Boston terrier became aggressive later in his life they still worked with him to the best of their ability and i was understanding of the situation. Now my mixed pit lab loves it there and even the new employees treat you like youre family. Best vet Ive ever been to.

We have a cat. They took us in same day we called. I trust them because they did not suggest "lets run lots of expensive tests", they know their stuff and resolved our cats problem with a basic exam. The place was clean and updated. And the office cat was a hoot!
