We took our 11 year old husky to Eastgate Animal Hospital because he was acting very lethargic and our previous vet just wanted to put him on steroids. I sure am glad we decided to get a second opinion! Though the hospital can seem busy at times I never felt rushed or as if I wasnt important. The staff was very nice and the doctors were very thorough. The times I had to take my husky in I saw both Dr. Frick and Dr. Goode - both were wonderful. Im happy to say my husky is doing much better and Im hoping we can get another year out of him and its all thanks to the friendly staff and knowledgeable doctors at Eastgate Animal Hospital.

While I was caring for a stray cat and her two kittens, I noticed that their tongues and gums had no color. I called and made an appointment to have them seen. It was an hour of waiting before the vet came in. I could hear a discussion in the hallway about taking a recheck first. The vet was not the least bit helpful. Said it could be feline lukemia or fleas and sent us on our way after charging me $70. One of the kittens died 12 hours later. I was able to find better information online to save the other kitten than I got from the vet. So, thanks for nothing.

I cant thank the staff at this place enough. Not only did we adopt our beautiful dog from here with their participation in Cincinnati Lab Rescue. But theyve been there for us twice during stressful times when we needed them. Even waiting a bit past normal hours while we were stuck in downtown traffic. Great staff, very friendly people, and you can tell that they do this job because they care about the animals theyre helping. I cant remember a time Ive had a better experience with a vet.

Pieces of sh**!!! I was moving across the county and they told me that I could order heartworm mediciation online through petmeds and when I tried the office denied my request for it. So they for one, lied to me and now my beautiful dogs are screwed because I cant get heartworm medication. They did not care at all. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Ive been coming here for years... because the staff and doctors are amazing. Prices are not outrageous. Love the 24 emergency line for clients. Ive had to use it a time or two over the years and I felt relief to know my fur babies were in good hands no matter time or day. I see no reason for this great group not to be my life long vet!

The doctors and staff at Eastgate are the best. They are caring and concerned and are very attuned to the life cycle of pets, caring for them from birth through geriatric care. They offer 24-hour on call emergency treatment to established clients and this has been a life-saver for us.

Weve been bringing our cat here since we found him when he weighed only 3 ounces. Our first visit was no charge for a rescue. They were very supportive and had alot of helpful tips on raising an orphaned kitten. With their help he now weighs a little over 6 pounds.

Discussed a treatment plan for my pet over the phone with this place. We agreed on a course of action to take place at the visit. Somehow it turned into a multi week ordeal. With services offered today being made to wait a week. WHAT A JOKE
