Recently I was invited to take a "girls trip" and needed someone to look after my Adult Special Needs daughter. My daughter needs total care such as feeding assistance, tolerating and basic activities of daily living. I contacted Home Instead and the Nurse worked diligently with me to get my daughters schedules and routines down pat so that my absence and Home Inteads presence would be as seamless as possible for my daughter. I am pleased to say that Home Instead got it 100% right, even down to the actual Caregivers that meshed with my daughters personality. I now know that I can accept going on a "girls trip" at anytime since I now have the confidence that Home Instead can lovingly look after my daughters needs. Thanks Home Instead!

Ive been working here for a while now and I wouldnt rather be any other place. The pay is alright, but you really dont have a lot of work to do. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant. Theyre proud to be a employee of home instead and once youre here you feel the same way. They try their best to fit your schedule, but like any other job theyre going to need as much help from you as possible. As long as you work with them they work with you. I honestly dont have 1 bad thing to say. My experience has been splendid! I would honestly work here forever if I didnt have bigger and better plans for my life. I would recommend it to anyone.

If i could give ZERO stars I would!!! The absolute worst place to work in Louisville. They want you to work what they want you to work, they dont care about your schedule they only care about what you can work for them. If you cant work a day for them then they wont give you shifts. The schedulers there are terrible, and very rude. They brag about having the most clients in Louisville, not a very caring company they only care about the money not their clients. Wouldnt recommend this place to anybody not even a client!!!!!

Too Disorganized!!!! Sending people to clients houses that no longer have our services, dropping the ball on payroll, scheduling is a JOKE!!! Waited 4 days to get my next assignment, just to be ask for the 5th time what days I can work. And still force me to take a day i cant work. Just to be told the wrong time. AGH!!!! Never again, And i thought Res-care was bad. #overit. Also if your reading this, just be aware thus this owner owns the one in louisville and new albany... so dont expect it to be any different.

Home Instead recently provided qualified and reliable care for my father for six weeks while he was recovering from an illnesses. They initially arrived on short notice and they were always there as promised. As much as possible, they provided caregivers that he grew to know and that was very comforting. I would definitely recommend Home Instead to others in need of caregivers for their loved ones.
