I have been a patient of hers for years but she just does not have time for her patients. Past few appointments she had been 1-2 hours late. Last time I saw her she was an hour and a half late and saw me fifteen minutes before she closed and rushed me through the appointment. I walked out of her office with the lights already out, she was so late. They forgot to give me a doctors note for work so I had to run back and bang on the locked door. Then when I got back to my car I noticed she wrote down the wrong day, but they did not answer the second time. So I had to run back the day after to get them to fix it. They also sent everything to the wrong pharmacy. My prescription was $120 so I couldnt afford it, and so I couldnt go back to work the next day because my voice was still completely gone and the other medicine would take a couple days to be effective. When I asked them to put the day after my appointment on my work excuse note because I obviously couldnt work, Dr. Hetman refused. They basically said there was no replacement for the medicine she prescribed so I would just have to buy it and go to work that day. They acted like I was just being stingy and just wanted to get off work! That medicine cost more (with insurance paying a good amount of it) than an entire days pay! I used to love this doctor. But I just need someone who has time to actually listen.

Dr. Hetman is always very thorough and takes time to answer any questions you may have and explains your diagnosis in whatever level of detail you require. She also is very reasonable an d not judgmental. She understands that no one makes 100% healthy choices and doesnt berate you for mistakes, but rather encourages you to make healthier decisions in the future. The staff is always friendly and accommodating as best they can when you need to be fit in last minute. Typically the wait is very reasonable, but I have had to wait a bit during heavy flu seasons. However, being someone who has benefited from being fit in when I was very ill, I appreciate the efforts and accept the minor inconvenience on the rare occasion it occurs.

I got a referral from my mom and Im so happy to have her as a Dr. she really listens to you and encourages you to do better mentally and physically. She listened to what was mentally draining me and made me feel at ease. I would recommend her to anyone. I did have to wait months until she was available, but it was worth it.

Dr. Hetman is a wonderful doctor.She is very detail oriented and will diagnose your problem and knows the best people to refer you to if needed.Her staff is next to none.I trust my life with her.
