I visited Wolter Chiropractic based on a recommendation. I hurt myself deadlifting and my friend drove me immediately to the center. I was in severe lower back pain. I could not stand, walk or sit without major pain. This was evident upon entering the office, as my friend had to support me and even fill out my paperwork for me. However, my first visit only consisted of questions and x-rays, all lasting about 15 minutes. While I know other chiropractic offices will then look at x-rays, diagnose the problem and then adjust the person right then and there, I was told to come back tomorrow after a plan could be put together. Mind you, I was in severe pain and walked out of that office (with my friend supporting me yet again) with only a recommendation to ice and Biofreeze the problem area. The next day, I returned to see my x-ray results, still in severe pain. After explaining to me in detail what my problem was, the chiropractor proceeded to give me a plan that would last three months and cost $1400. He also noted I could not pay one session at a time (although, I was told the day before it would be $65 per adjustment, so now there were irregularities in the practices story); it was either all or nothing. Upon telling him I couldnt afford it and wasnt even sure if I really wanted to do that, he replied with this: "If you had just said you cant afford it, I would have said lets adjust you today and schedule an appointment for next week, then we could go from there. Since you said you arent sure if you want the plan, why dont you go home and think about it." So, I left the office for the second time in severe pain. Since I had not agreed to pay $1400 on the spot, he would not adjust me. Since I had been honest about my feelings about not being sure I even wanted to do the plan, for the second time I was allowed to walk out of the office in severe pain! I am miffed, flabbergasted and even disgusted that an establishment would have so little morality as to allow me to leave in such a state not just once, but TWICE. I was treated as a walking wallet, not as a person. It was insulting and I am irate that my money was the only thing that would have got them to care about my wellbeing. I understand there are procedures, but what kind of customer service is it to let someone walk out of your office TWICE in severe pain when you know you can fix it? I understand the chiropractor had taken time to put together a plan, but what kind of customer service is it to tell someone you would have adjusted them if only they hadnt told you they werent sure about your plan? I do not recommend this establishment. And I only hope they learn from my review.

While I am a fairly new patient at Wolter Chiropractic, I am thankful for the thorough diagnosis and treatment of some neck issues I am having. I have been nervous to try chiropractic medicine for years due to the fact that I had spinal fusion and support surgery about nine years ago for scoliosis, and I was afraid that chiropractic work may create for hurt than help. I was pleasantly wrong. Dr. Wolter and his excellent staff have been knowledgeable in how to work around my surgically affected areas and they have focused on the primary issue points that they can help to correct. I have nothing but good things to say about this office and I look forward to continuing my journey to improvement.

Beyond simply applying the routine "chiropractic adjustments", Wolter Chiropractic and Wellness initially set me up for free spinal column X-rays, then, free of charge, the positives and negatives of my personal x-rays were compared to the best-health scenario. When I decided to do something about my condition, Wolter signed me up for a long-range program to restore my spinal column health. After a week in the hospital, I was misdiagnosed by medical doctors. Not sure where to turn I took my records to Dr. Wolter. He provided an answer along with a plan to relieve the severe, debilitating pain I was experiencing. Several months later...no surgery. no meds...I am on my way to freedom from chronic pain. Dr. Wolter and Dr. Fox provide solid, caring, honest results. This office and these doctors are changing me for the better. Totally recommend!

Dr. Wolter is the BEST! I originally went to see him for constant headaches - I put all of my tension in my neck and clench in my sleep when stressed. Thanks to him I no longer suffer from chronic headaches. Regular visits to him are one of the only reasons I cross the river anymore! He truly cares about his patients!!
