My name is Mike Haynes and I had a wisdom tooth break while vacationing with my wife and grandsons. Dr. Pickens was able to work me in that afternoon. Dr. Pickens had x-ray done and seen it needed to be taken out. He explained to me exactly what he wasnt going to do and how it would feel during the procedure. I was surprised how quickly he was able to take it out. Even better, I had very little pain even though a few hours later I was fishing with my grandsons. Dr. PIckens an his staff were very friendly and helpful from the start. I feel fortunate I had a problem while I was close by because I do not believe anyone could have done a better job than he did. I highly recommend he and his staff! Thanks!

I am terrified of a dentist. I went to Dr. Pickens office and discussed this with his hygienist. After sweating it for quite some time I decided to try the sedation dentistry. I had a crown put on with NO STRESS and NO PAIN. Later, I needed a root canal and went back without hesitation. The root canal was painless also. We have a VERY different experience. What happened actually only made me more fearful of ever being around his office again. They did start out nice but went very bad after a couple of visits.
