I went to Highpoint Dental, off of a Groupon I had bought for a cleaning and xrays. When I first got there I thought it seemed ike a nice place and my 1st impression was good. Then thats when the scam began. First off they didnt even do my cleaning, they took the xrays and then the Dentist came and looked at my teeth and xrays, then she said I needed a deep cleaning, they went on to tell me how much it would be and so on. I told them can I just get the cleaning I paid for, and they said I can, but it wont do anything for me and that I have to get the deep cleaning. They were very eager for me to schedule this deep cleaning and to get started. I told them I would schedule to come back for my ceaning that I was supposed to get that day and would think about the deep cleaning. Went back for my cleaning again they kept telling me how badly I needed a deep cleaning and pushing for me to get the process going. I told them for something like that I wanted to wait for my Dental Ins to kick in at work. Once my ins kicked in, I called them to find out what my cost would be now since I had ins, and they went from me needing a deep cleaning to saying I also had 5 cavities that needed to be filled. I told them they did not mention this last visit and they said they did, but I think I would remember someone telling me if I had 5 cavities. Anyways, I told them that I just wanted to come in for the regualr cleaning that is covered by my ins anfd they told me I cant do a regualr cleaning, they wont do the regualr cleaning and that I had to do deep cleaning, and that I needed to get in there ASAP that I have already waited to long. I started to get suspcious of how eager they were to get me in there, so I scheduled an appt with another dentist to get 2nd opinion. Well after getting the run around trying to get my xrays for a week! I finally got them. Went to the new dentist and was told that I have 1 cavity, not 5 and that I do not need a deep cleaning, just a regualr cleaning, and that with the numbers the other place was saying I had for each tooth, that most likely my ins wouldnt even cover a deep cleaning. So I am so glad I went and got 2nd opinion and saw highpoint dental for what they really were. Just an office trying to get in your pockets and rip you off and take what they can get out of you.

I dont recommend this place... stay away... far away. I am getting ready to sue them for incompetence and fraud in their pricing. I came in because of toothache and they told me I needed to remove 5 teeth on my right side, top and bottom. For $2,500 they said they would remove the teeth and provide me with a partial. I asked how long after the removal it would take for the partial and they said about a month. I asked what will I do for that month and they said I would get a temporary partial until the permanent partial was made. They made a mold of my mouth at that point and sent it to the lab for the temporary partial. But when they removed my teeth, they decided to only remove four which meant the lab had incorrect information in making my partial. The tooth they left is not compatible with my temporary partial and it is painful to chew or even bite down. I waited hoping the permanent partial would be right, but when time passed and I called them, they said I already had my partial, the temporary one. So I paid $2,500 for a temporary partial that was made incorrectly. When I complained, they basically said "tough luck". Use them at your own risk and dont take anything they say on faith.

I started going to High Point Dental after several negative experiences with my former dental office. High Point has delivered exactly what they promised over the phone and based on what they indicated on their website when I researched a new dentist. They are always able to fit me in to a time that works with my hectic schedule - including weekends. Theyre not pushy about getting services Im uncomfortable with doing. Ive never been given any services without being consulted and explained the charges that may not be covered by my insurance. The dental hygienists Ive had have always had great "bedside manners" - patient, courteous, take the time to explain any issues, etc. The dentist has always explained my current dental status with patience and made a recommendation for treatment. And my wait time has always been minimal after I arrive for my appointment. Ive recommended the office to several coworkers who live in the area and will continue to do so, as High Point Dental provides a great service.

My wife have been going here for about a year and a half. The work they do is well done. The people there are quite nice as is the doctor. I would be much more glowing about this practice if it wasnt for one very big issue. Every time my wife and I get anything more than a cleaning done we have big billing issues. They tell us what we owe before we get the work done based on our insurance. At the time of service we pay that. Then a month or two goes by and we receive a bill for more stating that the insurance didnt cover what was expected. Isnt it there job to find that out? I have never had this happen with any other dentist and I have had the same insurance for years. Yet EVERY time we get more than a cleaning we get charged more than they say we would owe. This now has happened 4 times. We will be looking somewhere else that is more upfront and honest.

I had my first appointment with High Point Dental today. It was not an experience I was looking forward to. From the moment I walked into the lobby, it was obvious that this was going to be a different experience than I have had over the years. This is a modern facility. They take advantage of current technology to make a patients experience as positive and pleasant as possible. This was not the typical teeth cleaning appointment I expected. It was not a typical rehash of proper dental care. It was about MY teeth and MY dental care. This was a personalized dental experience. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable, empathetic and friendly as well as professional. If you dread visiting your dentist, sitting in a sterile, spartan environment equipped with 20 year old technology (or older), you should consider High Point.

Ive been a patient for the past two years and have always received top-notch care from Dr. Paros and her team. I injured my teeth in an auto accident years ago, so Ive seen more than my share of dentists and can recognize the exceptional care offered at High Point. Dr. Paros is wonderful about communicating everything that is going on with my teeth and explaining the possible solutions. Her attention to detail/treatment plans is unmatched and Im always made to feel as comfortable as possible with whatever procedure is being performed. When my dad needed an emergency root canal, Dr. Paros was flexible enough to immediately accommodate him, and relieve his pain with the best possible care. You cant pick a more professional, more courteous, or more convenient dental practice than High Point--I highly recommend it to everyone!
