My first experience with this guy was after getting some dental work done, I get a letter from my insurance company that I have maxed out authorization for dental work. Turns out he took the checkup portion and without my permission used what he wanted to do ask for authorization for thousands of dollars of advanced dental work. I made sure they canceled it. When I went back later for a chipped tooth from over the holidays and it took 4 weeks to get an appointment. He refused to repair it short of putting in a crown. He charged me for this visit even though he did nothing. I refuse to pay it.

I had a horrible experience with a dentist about 20 years ago and hadnt seen a dentist since. I met "Doc" Smith in a network setting. It was a Friday afternoon when the pain started. He was on his way out of town when I called his office. His staff reached him by cell, he called me then called in a prescription which got me through the weekend. The following week he extracted two teeth with hardly any discomfort. I was amazed at how smoothly the procedure went. I cant say enough about "Doc" Smith and his awesome staff.
