Im so happy I found Dr. Zhou and his wonderful staff! I drive almost an hour out of my way just to see him because the experience and quality of care is unrivaled. After having a nightmare experience with another dentist who tried to drill into my tooth after I repeatedly told her I wasnt fully numb, you can understand why I developed anxiety towards visiting a dentist again. This is unheard of for me as I used to actually enjoy my visits. My cousin is a dental hygenist with his practice and had the best things to say about Dr. Zhou as a person and the quality of his work. I let him know that they had difficulty getting my molar fully numb and my apprehension about going through that experience again. He scheduled enough time for me to not only get additional Novocain but to also administer nitrous gas to calm my jitters. He and his assistant made me feel so at ease and explained everything they were doing to keep me informed throughout. Dr. Zhou had to administer more Novocain than usual because apparently there were extra nerve fibers there. Something the other dentist never even bothered to investigate as she just kept telling me it was my fault because I was too nervous. The entire process, including the nitrous, took less than 30 minutes and I didnt feel a thing! Hes extremely knowledgeable and explained things to me that no other dentist cared to explain (and perhaps didnt know). After spending a couple months with a tooth that had been partially drilled into and was never even fixed, Im so relieved to have found someone to fix it. I feel absolutely confident recommending him and his lovely staff to everyone. You wont regret it.

Outstanding!!! For so long, I carried childhood memories of having the worst and most painful dental experiences. These memories caused me to believe that dental appointments were not supposed to be enjoyable. I didnt want my children to have the same experiences as I did so I now go above and beyond to find a dentist that is gentle and thorough. As a military family, we move quite often and finding a new dentist can become mundane. I found Dr. Zhou about a year ago and decided to visit his office to first get a feel for his staff and their customer service. Upon arrival, I noticed the bright decor of the office. It was fresh, it was clean and the staff was AMAZING! After talking with them, I felt so comfortable with proceeding with an appointment. Once Dr. Zhou completed my exam, I was amazed. He exceeded my expectations and I was even more comfortable with scheduling for my younger sons. They enjoyed their visits as well. Im most appreciative that Dr. Zhou always informs me of what hes going to do before he does it...never any surprises! Im so grateful for a dentist that provides stellar customer service(He and the staff are consistently professional and friendly), allows an appropriate amount of time for scheduling(I never have to wait an extended amount of time for my appointment), always honest and forthcoming( Dr. Zhou gives a thorough explanation and tells me what to expect) and genuinely cares about my overall dental hygiene(very rare these days).

Dr Zhou is amazing. A colleague recommended him to me first, and I was embarrassed because I hadnt been to the dentist for many years. She confidentially told me she hadnt been in many years either- and that the staff were wonderful and treated her with respect and kindness- even though she knew her teeth were a mess. I gave them a try, and loved it. When Dr Zhou is doing work he communicates clearly and checks in frequently to make sure something isnt too uncomfortable or painful. Because of my positive experience, I recommended my husband to go check them out. Hes since had a lot of dental work done - including an implant. My mom was in excruciating tooth pain one day, and I suggested she call Dr Zhou to see if he could help her. Its been a while, so I dont remember if he came in early or stayed late to help her- but he did one of the two outside of his posted business hours. To have that kindness of care extended to her in 2016 is almost unheard of. She was immensely grateful and it started her on the road to recovery. I think my dad goes to Peartree Dental now as well. Its rare to find a practice that actually cares, and even more rare to find that in a dentist. Im less anxious about visiting the dentist, and I call that a major success.

An excellent practice! Dr. Mike and the staff of Peartree Dental are wonderful. I had not been to a dentist for over six years because of a nightmare experience with my last dentist; unfortunately, one of my permanent fillings recently fell out and needed to be replaced. I made an extensive search online for a new dentist and found what seemed like two excellent options, choosing Peartree Dental as it was the closer location. I am very happy that I made this choice: the staff are welcoming, friendly, patient and caring, and Dr. Mike is the best dentist I have ever had. He is gentle and takes the time to explain what needs explaining in simple detail, making sure that all is understood before proceeding. It turns out I needed a crown as well as fillings for a few cavities which resulted from my self-imposed dental neglect. Dr. Mike broke the work up between two visits, and never once during all his expert work did I feel the slightest bit of pain. My faith has been restored in dentistry and Peartree Dental will be the only place for me as long as I live in the area, and longer if future visits do not involve a plane.

It was several years since I had been to the dentist and knew I had some issues to take care. Life just got in the way, had kids, moved, etc. I was dreading it because the last dentist I went to gave a long lecture of not going regularly so I was so stressed that I had skipped my last visit I kept putting it off because I didnt to be scolded over not keeping up. I was referred to Dr. Zhou and I gave it a shot. Dr. Zhou and every one of his staff are amazing. He never made me feel bad and was very open with treatment plans and how to work with my insurance benefits. Each staff member is friendly, caring, and I feel like they know care about me there. On my last appointment, sitting in the chair, I actually was thinking how cool it would be to work here. If you ever had a fear of the dentist or have not been in a while and feel guilty and keep putting it off - please see Dr. Zhou. I have never posted a review about any business before. I now refer all of my family and friends to Dr. Zhou, even my parents who live an hour away - I tell them it is worth the drive!!

I truly enjoyed my experience at Peartree Dental Care. Going to the dentist is usually not something I enjoy, but my experience at this location superseded any former dental experience I have ever had! Dr. Michael Zhou, the dental hygienist, and the administrative aide were all delightful individuals. I went as a walk-in, and the administrative aide greeted me with genuine interest and delivered supreme customer service. I received a cleaning within 10 minutes of walking in, which surprised me because I thought that I was going to have to wait a lot longer or return on another day. The dentist and the dental hygienist were so sweet! Throughout my cleaning they told me how well I was doing, made me feel at ease, and made me feel like I was in good hands. In the past, I have experienced dentists who seem like they dont really care or rush through the process -- this is not the case here! I am truly looking forward to my next cleaning, as this place has re-branded the dental experience into something I can enjoy.
