I had a terrible experience with Dr. Poursaeid. I brought my 3 year old to the center for a cleaning and he was understandably crying when the hygienist wanted to brush his teeth. I was a little upset with his attitude but was trying to calm him down and have him understand that the hygienist was trying to brush his teeth like we do at home. Dr. Poursaeid came up to us and started very firmly telling (a little short of yelling) my son that he was making too much noise and that if he doesnt stop that his mom is going to leave him here alone! She didnt even introduce herself before proceeding to threaten my son. She proceeded to violently open the package of sterilized dental equipment while clenching her teeth! She was visually distraught and even I was scared of her! I was in shock. She did a quick examination and then asked the hygienist to hold him down while she brushes his teeth. She then said we are done and can leave. If Dr. Poursaeid doesnt have the patience or tolerance to deal with crying children, maybe she shouldnt be a pediatric dentist! This center may visually look kid friendly from the outside with her play stations, toys and toy coin machine but the doctor is in no way professionally capable of connecting with children.

If you are looking for a great pediatric dentist Kids Smile Pediatric Dentistry is the right place for you. Dr. Poursaeid has been our pediatric dentist for over 12 years. She is professional and great with kids. My son has always had issues at the doctors office and is very anxious every time we go to any doctor’s office. However, he likes the dentist office. The friendly staff and the environment that is created really welcomes kids and makes them comfortable even though they may be getting a cavity filled. Also, Dr. Poursaeid is very flexible in dealing with anxious children. For example my son needed to have a tooth filled and she had to numb him for the procedure. Of course my son was very nervous and would not let her put the needle in his gums. She was very creative and got him to agree to put the needle not on his gum but his teeth to get the filling done. Everyone was happy and all was good. The key with kids is that you have to figure out how to work with them and Dr. Poursaeid has a way of doing this.

I had few terrible experience with Dr. Poursaeid and team. Bad doctor, rude team, behind money, absolutely no goal for good dental care and bad experience. They also run a scam to get more money from insurance and your out of pocket. Be aware, ask for every procedure code or diagnosis code they will going to bill to your Insurance and what covered and what not. These guys are trying to make everyway possible to make money, which lead to big hole in your pocket where procedures not covered or partially covered and they will make sure you do those procedures and pay them a big way. I have been told for a minor tooth feeling where the laughing gas not at all required, but they confirmed me it is absolutely required and covered by my insurance, which I later find out thats a scam and I have to pay tens of hundreds of dollars from my pocket. This is just one of the example. Stay away !!!!! They are behind money !!! Find a better family dentist, who cares your kids not just run a business!!!!

Dr. Poursaeid has seen both of my children for years. Dr. Poursaeid has seen my son the same day he has broken his front tooth. He has a partial filling so it gets broken off in sports from time to time. As you can imagine, having a teenager with half a missing front tooth isnt cool for them. Her staff is so kind, helpful and accomadating and Dr. Poursaeid always works him into her schedule that day! My boys are extremely happy with her office, games, t.v., and prizes to keep them occupied before thier visit. I am proud to say no cavities since weve been at Kids Smile, they are always shown proper brushing and flossing techniques. Both both boys look forward to seeing her, to show how well they are taking care of thier teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Poursaeid. Driving the 30 minutes to see her is worth it for our family...

Honestly I thought going to the dentist was bad but now I never want to come back. The experience was horrible. As I patient, I should be treated with respect and lets just say that didnt happen. I was attacked with racist comments from the dentitions which I dont want to ever repeat again. I also was attacked with racial slurs from a dentist. Really. Anyone body else that could attack me but a dentist. Common arent you suppose to be educated? It wasnt the main dentist, shes very nice but it was this blonde dentist and red haired women that attacked me. That wasnt the worst of all. I waited one hour for my appointment to start. I have places to be, not hanging around with rude people. Just overall, dont come to kids smile. Never ever come back.

I brought my 7 year old son to Kids Smile to see Dr. Tannaz Poursaeid. He has always been very scared and anxious when it comes to going to the dentist. The staff were very friendly and made him feel at ease. He loved the video games and the fact that they give tokens at the end of the visit to get a prize. He needed to come back for some cavities using laughing gas. Dr. Tannaz Poursaeid explained in detail what the next steps were to move forward for treatment. When he came back for his treatment, I was worried however, she made him feel so comfortable. He had a VERY good experience! Now hes excited to go back for future cleanings. I most definitely would recommend this office.

My son has been going to Kids Smile and seeing Dr. Poursaeid since he was 2. He is now 5 years old. We love the office, staff and specially Dr. Poursaeid. Dr. Poursaeid is always very gentle and patient with the kids and makes going to the dentist a fun experience. My son loves to go to her office first because of the office environment and second because of Dr. Poursaeid, since when he was younger he was a bit nervous and she was so nice and did all his work herself (not her staff) so that my son could get more comfortable. And now he is a pro and even lets the hygienist work on him. I highly recommend her and her office.

I brought my daughter to Dr. Poursaeid for dental treatment. My daughter was very scared but when we walked into the office the front desk staff put her at ease. The office is very kid friendly and very welcoming. All of the staff is very friendly. When my daughter was called back to see Dr. Poursaeid she again got scared but the doctor talked to her told her everything that was going to happen and also showed her everything.My daughter was not scared anymore. After we left the office my daughter asked when could she go back to the dentist office.

Dr. Tannaz Poursaeid has seen both my son and nephew and they LOVE her. The office is a VERY kid friendly place. The staff is very professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Tannaz Poursaeid and her associate Dr. Hassan Davalloo. My son has seen Dr.Davalloo in the past and he is great with kids. Both doctors show every effort to make sure you understand whats going on with the dental health of your child. They take every step to ensure you and your childs safety. I have highly recommend Kids Smile.
