Dr. Sobowole is a lying fraud. He tried to tell me that my feral kitten, that had fleas needed a blood transfusion ,due to a slight rise in temperature. He told me that he was unable to give the kitten shots, until the temperature was normal and the only way to do this was to give him a transfusion. This was the most ridiculous procedure for a minor problem. Knowing that cats are prone to a rise in temperature, as a result of being stressed, I refused his treatment plan. I monitored my kittens temperature for a week, with various thermometers, to make sure of the accuracy. My kittens temperature was normal. I brought the data back to Sobowole and because I didnt bite at his preposterous plan, he gave the kitten his shots. A couple months later, I brought him in for another set of shots. This time, he told me that my kitten had an ear infection. The cost of the bill was over 100.00. I was extremely skeptical of the diagnosis, so made an appointment with a reputable vet the next day. The Vet told me that my kittens ears were clear. I told her my experience with Sobowole and she was appalled. I asked her to please take a culture of the ears to prove he was a lying fraud. She did and the culture was negative. She wrote a letter of her diagnosis and her findings. I took the letter and my rage to Sobowole and he could not deny that he was liar. I made sure everyone in the office knew of the scam. Sobowole tried to whisk me into his office to cover up his lies but I refused. Since my episode, I know of 2 other pet owners that were given fraudulent diagnosis. Dont let the Sobowoles glib personality fool you. He tries to make you feel special and praises your pet but it is all an act. He is a vile sociopath.

DO NOT GO TO CROYDON! I should have known after the first visit when my dog was shaking uncontrollably and crying to leave when I was paying for the exam. After taking my dog there, we were told to sign up for the pet plan which we did because at the time it seemed like a wise decision. Supposedly the plan covered most things for about $40 a month. However, after several visits we always ended up paying close to $300 every time. They ALWAYS want to do blood work which costs a ton of money. They claimed my dog had an ear infection and charged me for a test and also charged me close to $70 for medication for her ears! The doctor said my breed of dog is prone to ear infections and she needs to be checked regularly (sounds like a way to get more money to me). My dog had her teeth cleaned there and they charged for xrays, charged for blood work, charged for antibiotics, they wanted me to buy a water supplement that has been known to cause dogs health problems and treats for her teeth. The dr. ended up PULLING a tooth and on top of everything my dog came home with fleas. My dog is constantly outside and has NEVER had fleas. If you are a vet you should have a clean facility and monitor dogs coming in for any fleas. This place just wants your money and the doctor I can never understand anything the doctor says. If you really care about your pet getting the best treatment and care, do NOT go to Croydon.

We love that when we walk through the doors of his pet hospital that the staff will already know our names and that of our pets. When Dr. Sobowale greets us, he has a smile that just lights up his face. If you want to be a faceless number and sit forever in a waiting room of an overbooked clinic where they proclaim to treat you like family – then Croydon Pet Hospital is not for you! This is a place where you ARE family, your pet is treated by a true professional, and you leave there feeling like you just had a visit with a dear old friend. We have made the commute from York, PA for the past 6 years. We highly recommend Croydon Animal Hospital to anyone who truly wants the best for their beloved pet!

If you are looking for a great groomer, Croydon Pet Hospital in Glen Burnie, MD is the place to come! Judy Kakuk is an extremely talented, professional and caring groomer. She does the most beautiful job on my two Shih Tzus , Missy and Lucy (one has long hair). I always get numerous compliments on my "girlies". She also groomed my other Shih Tzu and my two Keeshonds for many years until they passed. She is always attentive to you and your pets needs. She treats them as if they were her own "babies" I have followed her around for 20+ years because she is simply the best groomer around this area. As long as I am around and have "babies" and Judy is in the area, she is the only groomer I trust to professionally and caringly beautifiy my "babies". I love her!!!

One word sums up Croyden ... "WOW." We had been taking our cats to a different clinic that "just didnt care...." We were simply a budgetary number, they gave no indication that they cared as long as we payed them. Dr. Sobowale was AMAZING. We took Clover, our newest addition there and ONE visit sold us... As with other posters, I 100% agree that Dr. Sobowale is compassionate, caring, and really lights up the room with his attitude. He even offered me a bottled water - as petty as that sounds, it made my day. We are transferring our other two cats to Croyden - and recommending to our friends to switch. AMEN to a Veternarian that absolutely LOVES his job.... Bravo!!

Whatever you do, DO NOT get the pet plan. They renew only once a year so you have to keep paying the monthly fee even though you need to stop seeing the doctor because you move, dont like him, or any reason at all. So stuck with this doctor even if you dont use it for a whole year. Also, every time I went I waiting in the waiting room for over 45 minuets, he does not respect your time. Thirdly every time I took my dogs to croydon pet hospital for a regular check up I had to pay 400 dollars for this and that even though I have the pet plan because the doctors take advantage of pet owners who will do anything for their pets.

I have know Dr. Sobawali for 10+ years, starting at Banfield Hospital. While there he always greeted and treated my pets like they were his own. I love that about him. The follow-up after treatment is so reassuring and welcomed. I waited for Dr. Sobawali to open his own pet hospital, and have no regrets. I have recommended him to my family and friends. I will always have a special place in my heart for "my family" at Croyden Pet Hospital. The entire staff treat us like their friends and family, and the care of my pets is extraordinary.
