I saved a kitten 3 months ago to yesterdays date. He was built like a lion even at his young age. He was very long and lanky with long legs and long tail . His face was beautiful, part Siamese with lightest brown eyes that were simply stunning. His fur like rabbit hair. It never got courser. White with black and beige striping in places. As he grew he became absolutely stunning. Not one person looked at him without commenting how beautiful. He was not like an ordinary cat. He was more like a puma but more beautiful and behaved like a dog. He came when you called his name no matter where he was in the house . When he got to you he would just plop down on the floor at your feet . Whenever you picked him up it was hard to hold onto him because he was so long and lanky and covered in rabbit fur he would go limp and would slide out of your hands. He Loved being held upside down constantly. He would bend over backwards to look at any and every thing upside down. We would fall asleep hearing him purring in between our pillows. He would come running to wake up Dan at the sound of his alarm because he knew it was breakfast time. My son became so attached to him. He said every day hes never met a cat like this. Simba loved water running. It became a ritual to turn the tub or sink in for him whenever we were in the bathtub. We rescued him from a country road after witnessing him escaping near death from getting run over from a truck coming the other way. I was very sick at the time and he laid on top of me for the first month day after day until I got better. His complete floppy soft body was so fun to hold . Like hugging a floppy bean bag covered in rabbit fur. When he walked he swaggered and his shoulders would move up and down like a wild cat My fiancée became so attached to him saying everyday how special this cat was. He was my baby. He was a part of all of us. He was a part of who we were and how we lived .every single day all three of us had something to say about Simba constantly. We took him to bayside vet yesterday to get nuetered. They called me a bit later and told me he died. I screamed and cried for hours. My fiancé picked him up and brought him to my son and I. We took turns back and fourth holding his dead limp body Just sobbing uncontrollably. My fiancée built a beautiful box and carved a headstone from a leftover rock from our house. We put his favorite toys with him in the box. I woke up at 1:00 crying and crying longing for him. I cannot go on without him. My son used the ice maker on the fridge and started crying because Simba would always come running when he heard that noise. There was no one to wake up dan with purrs. We are completely broken inside. Why did this happen? Why why why .... This should have NEVER happened. Our lives are forever changed. Simba didnt deserve to die.

Kitten killer! Your response is lovely however if this is the case then why did your Dr. ( and I use the word loosely as possible not to offend any real doctors out there ) treat the owner as poorly as they did? Accidents happen this is true however the way you act and treat others after the accident speaks volumes as to the character of your medical staff. I wouldnt bring a city rat to you to be treated cause if my animal were hurt or killed by your untrained staff they would suffer the same fate as my animal. Im making sure to tell EVERYONE I know to stay away from your office and posting what you have done and how you treated the owners every where I can. Ive also recommend to the owners they contact the MD veterinary association and the US veterinary association so a full and proper investigation of you, all your people and their creditadation. And YES I WAS a client if yours! My wife and I came to your office several times but your poor customer service ran us off. After hearing of the treatment of a friends pet guess what Im gonna do? TELL EVERYONE HOW HORRIBLE YOU ARE! Hope to see a out of business sign on your front door soon.

I have been a client since the day Bayside open their doors. What an amazing group of Vets. Larry Steinberg has provide extraordinary care to include working with me to determine the best solution when one of my cats were ill. He is sensitive, caring and it is all about the animals. The other Vets provide the same high quality of care and I would not take my animals anywhere else unless it was an emergency where I could not reach one of them. Larrys extra special care has made my cats happy, healthy and almost all of them have lived a very long time. I do not want to forget the wonderful staff - they are the best and I have the utmost confidence in them as they have shown true caring and concerning whatever my cats have been ill and especially when it was time to end the life of one of my fur babies. I more than highly recommend this Vet..

My first visit to this facility was nice. The wait was a little lengthy and the ladies at the front desk wasnt as friendly as my previous veterinary office but overall the doctor was honest. Its not about them getting your money its about the best care for your pet. My previous vet said my puppy needed surgery and the cost was $1300 but this doctor at Bayside suggested eye drop medication for the cherry eye and stated surgery is not required if it doesnt bother my puppy or cherry doesnt get worst. I was even told the surgery if needed would be $800. WOW! Big difference. Hopefully surgery will not be needed but i love the care they gave to my puppy and the doctors honesty. This is our new facility to take our pets.

In one word --- edit that to two words --- Dr. Bray and Dr. Oliver are caring and competent. What more could you want? Our Cavalier, Hampton, experienced a frustrating limp for eight months and I visited six veterinarians before finding Dr. Bray and her recommendation to Dr. Knapp at the Orthopedic Sports Medicine Group. (There, in ten minutes, we had the answer that no one else could give.) For the next six years and counting Hampton visits both Dr. Bray and Dr. Oliver regularly. I am grateful to both doctors. I have total faith in both --- and, I dont give that easily. In fact, the entire practice there, from the front desk colleagues back, are welcoming and caring. I am grateful.

Dr. Buchanan is single handedly the best doctor. Ever. I brought in my 2 girls, both were spayed AND had multiple teeth removed. 2 days later theyre both back to being themselves, happy and not in pain. She does an incredible job and not to mention she can work on exotic animals too! There were photos of her working on flamingos and elephants and like jungle animals in her office. I was very impressed. The prices were amazing, and no guilt tripping (like the other nearby place that begins with H). I have found my girls forever doctor here!
