Sad but oh so True. Went for my 1:30 appointment to get heartworm tests completed on both of my dogs. Tests came back negative but unfortunately they will now still be at risk for a couple of weeks and might require another heartworm test before this is all said and done. After the exam and I paid the $97 for the 2 heartworm test, and wanted to purchase the medication to prevent deadly heartworm virus. Well-Pet informed me that they do not carry Revolution (topical medication since neither dog can take pills) and they dont have a topical medication to replace it. Ok, understandable. Now I gave them the name of the online service that does carry Revolution but she absolutely refused to work with that service even under these circumstances and while rushing me out of there she continued to go on and on about how awful my online service was to them, which at that time we were more concerned with how we were going to get the medication that I just paid almost $100 for them to do the testing. Well-Pet informed me that she will give me a hard copy prescription but doesnt think anyone will accept it. What? ok than what am I to do. I contacted the online service myself and they told me that all Well Pet needs to do is authorize the tests, thats it. She was not concerned about my dogs or us. I never did anything wrong to those people, we have donated lots of items to their causes. I figure ok maybe today things will be different. I called and the girl who answered said she was willing to authorize via my online service this time. Great I called the online service they said I would have it soon as they recd authorization, all is good. Nope, the other lady called my husbands phone to "remind" him of the conversation yesterday which he wasnt there for, he left out of frustration after we paid, I stayed and waited for the hardcopy prescription. Well- Pet suggested that I change my online service to suit them. Excuse me, this would of all been good to know prior to the exam for one and I am not comfortable with just giving my credit card number to any online service and the service that I use has been my service for years. I trust them! Now I have to mail in a prescription wait for the online service to receive it before they can send me the revolution product to protect my 2 dogs from the deadly heartworm virus. Just one bug bite is all that it takes for a dog to get heartworm and this process can take up to 2 weeks, when all that Well Pet Clinic needed to do was authorize the test to the online services and my product would be sent out today and I would have it within 24 hours. Tell me, how would you rate that kind of treatment? Maybe WellPet Clinic is too good for our family, there rates were hirer than my vets anyway. I went to them yesterday because my vet couldnt see the dogs for a few more days. Sadly I wish I would of waited those days because in the long run my dogs wouldnt wait as long for their preventive medication.

Very unprofessional staff. Dirty office. Rude veterinarian. First off I went in for a rabies shot for my 14 week old puppy. But the vet decided to give her a distemper shot instead. She already has been given her first shots at another office. I explained that she just needed her rabies. The vet told me she was too young and could have a bad reaction. I believed her. But when I called later on and asked how old a puppy must be for a rabies shot I was told 13 weeks. She then explained that she could not administer both shots on the same day and thats why she didnt give my dog her rabies shot.... I was asked when I was going to get my puppy spayed. After telling the vet twice that I was not interested in this procedure right now, she went ahead and scheduled my dog for the surgery anyway. Upon checking out, the staff notified me of this appointment that they had made without my permission. I told them that I declined when the vet asked me and that I was not getting my dog spayed. I asked if this was common practice for them to go behind owners backs and schedule their pets appointments without permission. They then gave me a dirty look and had nothing to say. I am a responsible pet owner. I understand that accidents do happen. But I will not be forced into a service that is not wanted. I feel that when you are paying for a certain service that it should be given. Not whatever the staff feels they want to give.

They make owning a pet and taking care of your pet properly very inexpensive. Shots, nuder, spayed, adopt, Cats, Dogs. Not sure if they take all types of animals or just dogs and cats. Wouldnt hurt to ask. Great people they have the heart the want the will to Keep every animal they can healthy.

The people are great, and the service excellent, however, they should NOT post their hours of operation unless they are going to stick to them. You have to call them to find out when they are going to be open...this is not acceptable business behavior.

Until Well Pet opened,there were NO affordable vet options in the area. You either paid a fortune,or if you couldnt afford it,your pet suffered. At least there is an option for those who need it.
