I have nothing but the highest regard for Honeygo Animal Hospital, as well as their staff. I have been going to Honeygo for 5+ years now, since I picked up my pup back in 2008. Since then, i have picked up a kitten and have been taking her there since 2009. I have also moved a couple of times within Maryland, tried out a couple of local vets -- only to find myself returning to Honeygo (despite the longer drive). First and foremost, Dr. Wright and Dr. Moffa (as well as the rest of the staff) are phenomenal. Extremely friendly, to-the-point, and always made time for my pets when I needed to come for a non-emergency visit. They are very accommodating with their/my schedule, and the doctors are extremely knowledgeable. I would easily trust them with my pets lives, and never think twice when I drop my pets off. I have full faith in their services, so I look forward to returning for many years to come. They also send out friendly reminders when checkups are due - always on point! One of the reasons why I never question Honeygo is because of their extremely-fair prices and guidance. When I visited some vets that were local, they suggested and advised that I get this, that, EVERYTHING. As a result, I paid an arm and a leg for basic check-ups and bloodwork. However, Honeygo will NEVER pressure you into getting something you dont need -- or at least, i never felt that way. When Dr. Moffa or Wright suggested that some things need to be done, they always explained what each charge/procedure was, and what was truly necessary. They never pressure you into getting things you dont need - and your pet will always get the best service. To boot, I very recently had to get a lump removed on my pets neck. Before I went to Honeygo, i visited my local vet to see how much they would charge for the non-cancerous cyst removal, and I was completely overwhelmed. Since my dogs blood work was recently done, I wanted to schedule the surgery asap. When i went to Honeygo, their estimate was only 25-35% of what the local vet wanted. Maybe the 300-400% surcharge for the local vet was because it was in the city... however, I would gladly drive an extra 30-minutes to save quite a few hundred dollars at Honeygo. Lastly, their facilities are great! Very easy to get to, and their staff... truly wonderful. One example: when i went to that exorbitantly overpriced, local city-vet, my dog had an accident and went #2. The front desk receptionist simply pointed to where the tissues were - and I picked up after my dog (indoors). I thought nothing of it... When I recently visited Honeygo, another patrons dog relieved himself -- and almost instantly, one of the staff came out with towels, disinfectant, and immediately wiped the floors down. Thinking back, after having visited a couple of other vets, I truly realize how great Honeygo Animal Hospital really is. Long story short, Honeygo Animal Hospital is the best vet I have ever been to... If youre looking for a very good vet, with boarding capabilities, extremely-fair prices, and fantastic staff -- Honeygo is the place for you and your pet. I look forward to returning for many years to come... Thank you, Honeygo. You have always been great to my pets (Pookie and Qtip), and I thank you for their great health!

This vet is terrible. I had been going since my boxer was a puppy (she is 8.5 now). She started suffering from terrible "allergies" since January. I have gone 8 times this year alone only to be given more Apoquel, which is $1.50 a pill. Well, come to find out, Apoquel should NEVER BE given to a dog that has a history of cancer (THEY removed three Mast Cell tumors 2 years ago) because it creates a fertile environment for cancer. After a biopsy two months ago from two removed tumors, I was told "the good news is it is not cancer." Well, fast forward to two weeks ago when the dermatologist biopsied two more spots and confirmed that she has Mast Cell tumors all over her body, which is causing the constant itching. Honeygo did nothing to help. One of the owners, Dr. Wright, was less-than-helpful and less-than-friendly. Now I have the pleasure of going to an oncologist and determining the best treatment for my dog at her age. I am not saying Honeygo gave her cancer, but they had every opportunity to diagnose this and/or help determine the reason for her scratching. I will not being going back her with any future pets. Ive spent thousands only to be given a medicine that she shouldve never been given in the first place (Apoquel). Go anywhere else!

Dr. Julie is amazing. She is a pet whisperer. I have been with her when she was with Festival Vet and came with her when she started her own practice. The fact that I trust her with the family members I love the most says everything. Since I moved away, I drive over an hour and a half to bring my kitties to her and I will only see her. I have never once seen the office dirty or smelly. You expect some smells because it is a Vet Office and there are a bunch of different types of pets there, but it never stinks. Dr. Julie Wright is the BEST Vet I have ever been with and I recommend her to everyone that I meet that has pets. She is WONDERFUL and will never BS you on anything or over charges you for any unnecessary fees. I recommend her to you 100% and I have been going to her for over 20 years. Thanks Dr. Julie and my kitties thank you too. Meow.

We just moved to the area and recently bought a new pup. Excited to find a vet for our new family member, we decided to go to The Honeygo Animal Hospital, which was recommended to us. We took our new puppy for a check-up recently in August of 2013. The staff was most friendly and helpful! However, our experience with the vet was horrible. She did not introduce herself or make us feel welcome both times we went. Went back the second time to give the benefit of the doubt. (Everybody has bad days.) The Vet was very condescending, made us feel like we were raising the dog inappropriately. If we asked questions, the vet would answer in a rude manner. Nor did she thoroughly explain the health conditions with our pup, even when we asked questions. I do not recommend this place, because of our experience with the vet.

They are very fair priced, and make it easy on pet owners! The front desk is very friendly. My dog hates all vet offices, and barks at any pet in the waiting room, which makes it a very stressful event if the staff isnt understanding. But the staff at Honeygo will let me wait with my dog in the car, and call me when they have the exam room ready for my dog. No waiting room nightmares! They even let me check out and pay in the exam room! This is something that should be a given, but Honeygo is the only vet Ive been to that does this. We usually see Dr. Mullinex, who is the only vet I trust. She will never prescribe anything unnecessary.

Ive been taking my dog to Honeygo Animal Hospital since 2007 when she was a puppy. I have always found the facilities to be very clean. Dr Moffa and Dr Julie have taken care of my girl. I have found them to be not only knowledgeable and competent but also compassionate. We recently found out my Bella has lymphoma. Dr Julie was not only caring and gentle with her, she also comforted me, as did her staff. Which was deeply appreciated. Ive used other vets with prior dogs I owned and they never received the level of care like Bella has at Honeygo. I wouldnt take her any place else. I highly recommend them. Its my dads vet also.
