Dr. Bates has been looking after our sweet Boxer, Caesar, for many years. Weve been through the typical Boxer trials and tribulations, from cancer, to allergies, to heart disease. We can always count on Dr. Bates to find the root cause of problems and prescribe corrective measures. We typically walk away with a some new found tid-bit of veterinary knowledge, have never been disappointed, and entrust the care of our four legged "child" to the good doctor. From surgery to skin conditions, Abingdon Animal Clinic always delivers great love and care for our Boxer.

Dr. Bates and his assistants are WONDERFUL. They treat your pet as if it were their own and handle them lovingly with much compassion and kindness. We drive from Williamsburg just do Dr Bates and the amazing staff can take care of our puppies. He also had a location in Williamsburg, but the Abingdon clinic offered a free first visit when we adopted our pups at the Gloucester Humane Society, and we have been very pleased with them.
