Dr. Shamim is, in fact, the most caring, dedicated and knowledgable holistic physician in the mid-atlantic region. I have been going to him since the mid-eighties, when nobody was into vitamins or juicing or anything like that. He was way ahead of the pack, always. I consider myself fortunate to be a recipient of his healing remedies and blessed that he introduced me to natural healing rather than loading up on antibiotics and harmful prescribed drugs and surgeries.

The patient was diagnosed with breast cancer, but did not want to have surgery. She went to Dr. Shamim because he is an advocate of the Gerson Therapy. The patient could not afford to strictly follow the diet and her health continued to deteriorate. But Dr. Shamim encouraged her to follow the diet and did not recommend a second opinion. Consequently, the cancer metastasized to the patients lungs and liver and she died.
