My wife and I are rating this OB/GYN with 1 star based on our frustrating experience on three counts relating to 1) clerical error, 2) billing, 3) professionalism: 1. Three days after our first visit, a nurse called requesting that my wife should come in and draw blood again because the hCG level from the first test came out low. We hurried in worried sick and drew blood. We anxiously waited for few days and during the following visit, the doctor doesnt even mention anything about this so we inquired. The doctor tells us everything had looked normal from the very first blood test. We find out that it was a clerical error that caused us to draw blood for the second time when everything came back normal from the first visit. We still got billed for the second blood test. 2. During our second visit for sono, the doctor tried the trans-abd ultrasound but couldnt get a view and decided to perform a trans-vag ultrasound. We were later billed for two identical claims with different $ amounts, attributed to two different sonar methods. So the doctor would just try one method and if that doesnt work move on to the next method without explaining, while billing the patient for all his "tries"? I am still unsure why he didnt think the trans-vag would be the better method at the onset. 3. Our appt was at 1pm, checked in at 12:55am. At 1:30pm, we finally see the doctor but we walked out of the room 3 minutes thereafter. Is it that difficult to even pretend that the patients time is valuable and there is some meaningful guidance a medical professional can provide that lasts longer than 3 minutes? We made an appointment to be back in four weeks. I really hope we can update this review to a better rating.

They were great when I saw them in April fast service I was in and out it was easy. But I asked for birth control the implant to be specific I went to the Office on April 21st it is May 28th and I called for the 3rd time this month and this time the receptionist told me that it hasnt been ordered. the other 2 times I was advised that it was ordered already. That is complete BULL that they dont update notes properly or order birth control in a timely manner UPDATE After receiving a phone call from the office manager Stephanie Jackson today in regards to my negative review stating I am putting the error of the receptionist on the whole office by giving them a negative review. As stated previously they were great but when it came to the birth control they were horrible. Stephanie proceeded to tell my that it was the insurances fault it took them a whole month to do a benefit investigation to confirm what I already knew I was covered at 100%. Now I do benefit investigations EVERYDAY and it does not take a whole month to complete it. I will not be going back to the office because before the call was ended Stephanie asked if I wanted to continue and get the birth control I advised yes. She stated she will be speaking with the administering doctor about my review. (her reason being is that it needs to be discussed with all the practitioners. Sorry As for Dr Askin I will let him know he was great but as for the office staff I cannot say the same.

Dr Masiky delivered my baby (@holy cross Germantown). We cant thank her enough. She did such an amazing job, was calm and professional, so uplifting when I was half- conscious from pain. She explained what she was about to do and what I should do and how very patiently throughout the whole process. I recommend her to anyone who is pregnant and looking for a obgyn. I would also recommend Dr Poshni, she monitored my pregnancy after I transferred here from another practice (Reiter&Hill). In fact my pregnant girlfriend just transferred to this practice. Also I am not sure about the rude staff other reviews talk about. The frontdesk girls I talk to are always super sweet, maybe the staff have changed since then?

Dr. Ashkin is amazing! He is so knowledgeable and was top of his medical class. He delivered my baby girl 2 years ago and told off the nurses who lied to me at HCH in Germantown and wouldnt let me visit my baby when I asked. The staff at Holy Cross in Germantown were horrible, but Dr. Ashkin is the best!! He stands up for his patients and delivered my baby perfectly!

Horrible people working the front. Google had the wrong address for Dr. Poshni so I was 9 minutes late and I was told I wouldnt be seen. Dont waste your time with this awful office. There is a better OB GYN literally across the hall. Capital OB GYN. Go there.

I have been with this office for 10 years and have not been disappointed with Dr. Masiki or Dr. Ashkin! They are both amazing!
