When faced with cancer or any health issue, you want to be surrounded with great doctors, family, and friends. You will find all that and more at Virginia Gynecologic Oncology. I had different friends and family members bring me to my appointments. They all agreed with me that even in the worst of times, this is where you find compassion, caring, and great health care. Doctors here will explain the procedures, answer phone calls, have time for the patients support system, and treat the whole person with honestly and respect. I would and have recommended them.

Dr. Ford came highly recommended by my regular doctor because I needed to see a specialist. I was pleased to be able to get an appointment very quickly. I had a thorough examination at my first appointment and Dr. Ford explained in detail, my diagnosis as well as several treatment options. Based on my particular diagnosis, he recommended surgery. I was able to get my surgery scheduled quickly. It went very well and recovery was short. I am grateful that Dr. Ford was able to help me. He is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him!

Him and his staff have always been there for me if I have any questions. He has always been supportive and direct to the point about what the next step is.
