I was very un happy with his office. I made an appointment in the morning through zocdoc for my daughter to be seen a bit after noon. The receptionist called me 10 mins before the appointment to say that Dr. Kolnik only sees children 5 and up. Hm. Even after telling the receptionist that I travelled 20 miles, she didnt even try to see or ask about the situation. They need to note it on zocdoc or other associated website(s) about minimum age. My daughter, for one, has no problem understanding simple directions and knows all her letters and alphabets - but we were not going there for that anyway. Her pediatrican needed to have something checked for her eyes. Still not sure why they didnt even try to work it out or bother asking since they called right before and the distance I travelled was not exactly short.

Dr. Kolnik and his staff are fantastic, efficient, and make you feel welcome from the second you step inside the door. I wrestled between two frames and did not feel pressured into making a quick decision. Theyre the best.

Dr. Kolnik is a gem. Hes smart, competent, responsive and thoughtful, and he treats each patient with respect and care. His staff reflect his values. He deserves at least 10 stars!
