My mother and I have been patients of Dr. Gowda for over 10 years, every since she took over the practice from her predecessor. My mother was in her eighties when Dr. Gowda became her PC and loved her immediately. She was extremely caring in her attitude towards my elderly mother, who loved to chat with her, and was always quickly able to assess if my mother needed TLC and a medication adjustment or a stay at the hospital, which my mother always referred to as her "tune up". She has seen my mother frequently over the years, but more so in her recent years as her health declined. Balancing my mother’s medications for the best quality of life possible was a challenge at which Dr. Gowda was extremely capable. My mother passed away 2 years ago and having a doctor that is in tune with the needs of both the patient and the caregivers is critical. Dr. Gowdas responsiveness and willingness to work with the family in the final months of my mothers care was invaluable and made a very sad time more manageable. I continue to be a patient of Dr. Gowda’s and find her care to be efficient, punctual, accurate, and available whenever I need it. When I had my thyroid removed and wanted to go out-of-network to have the work done at Boston Medical, she worked with me to make that happen. Recently I forgot to ask for a dermatologist referral at my appointment and simply called the office to have it done…no problem. I would recommend Dr. Gowda to anyone of any age. She is a highly qualified, caring doctor who is quickly able to assess the problem and either address it herself or refer her patient to someone more appropriate for the diagnosis. You can rest assured that you will always be well cared for!

Theres not much to say here, after a few visits to this office the truth of the situation will certainly leave you looking else where for your care, well if you have any health needs beyond a physical. Save yourself unnecessary stress and duress and seek your care else where; what ever you do, DO NOT trust the care of any elderly or disabled person to this office, not if you love them or care about them. e.g. if you must take them here be sure to be actively involved, do not leave them alone in the room, make sure you get a 2nd opinion and pay attention during your loved ones visits.Also be sure to check all prescriptions and be alert for medications that should not be taken together, and be careful to read what your signing, they bypass the hippa act ....Consumer BEWARE.

We have had numerous problems with Dr. Gowda and her office. I am a professional, and trying to deal with the Dr. for a client who has many social issues. This makes it difficult to begin, and then Dr. Gowda has been disrespectful to my client and myself, as well as not communicating with the proper people, expecting professionals to jump and come to her office when she dictates, with no notice. We are changing physicians. The final straw came when her office called the wrong person and then I got the message and called at 11:55 am. The office had already gone on the service and refused to talk with me even when the service called the inside line and said it was an urgent medical problem.

For years, Dr. Gowda has been an excellent doctor for both my parents. She has gone above and beyond in helping them, and we truly appreciate her excellent health care. She professional, compassionate, competent. She is a hard worker… I’ve seen her visit my parents in the hospital and rehab early in the morning, and I’ve also accompanied my parents on many appointments in her office during the day. She takes time to listen and then advise. She honestly cares. This past year was particularly difficult for our Dad and we will never forget how she helped him. We would not hesitate to recommend her.

I have always had great experience with Dr. Gowda and her staff at Norwood Medical. My wife and I are patients of Dr. Gowda for many years, we both find her genuinely caring for your health, she listens to your medical issues without being rushed, carefully coordinates care with different specialists or tests, and she is available at all times. The office is clean and staff is friendly. My wife and I are very happy with the level of service provided by Dr. Gowda and her staff!

I never met her in so many of my visits. Either Im directed to Dr. Kaul (shes a good doctor) or Nurse Practitioner Stephanie (shes good too). Please note: All my visits were either to get a physical or a cold and cough types.
