I been coming to Avalon for some time now & personally I think its great especially at the new Assembly location. I used go to the Temple Rd Somerville location but Dr. Svetlana Dvechenko is at the Assembly location mostly now & even though its more of a drive for me I honestly dont mind. Shes very understanding & all the work shes done for me from cavity fillings to my Invisalign treatment, shes been clear, thorough and all her work has been painless. The staff at the location as well are so much more accommodating and one day I had to change my scheduled time last minute & they were able to book me later on & at the time I needed. The staff & Dr. Svetlana are happy & unbothered!

Dr. Prokupets is THE most gentle dentist I have ever experienced. Maybe it was her hot pink gloves, but my cleaning was a breeze and I did not feel any discomfort. When she administered novocain for my filling I literally did not feel a thing. I really appreciate how modern the office is and how much new tech they use. Dr. Prokupets is young and bright and really enjoys what she does. If you live or work in the Somerville area she is also very conveniently located. There is tons of easy parking and Assembly Square is also really awesome and filled with great shopping.

I have always had a fear of the dentist which led to not going for the last 5 years. I found Dr .Miskulin on Google and after reading the reviews, I pushed my fears aside and made an appointment. Not only were they accommodating with scheduling, but I was able to get in fast. Dr. Miskulin was gentle and kind and everything she did, she explained what she was doing. If you have a fear of the dentist like I did - go see Dr. Miskulin!

I was extremely nervous before the root canal procedure but it was 100% painless! Sure, all the tool noises werent great but I felt no pain during the procedure and even better, no pain afterwards. The dentist Svetlana said that ibuprofen will help with the expected pain which I was scared about, but I ended up needing no ibuprofen at all. Fantastic, really! I know it sounds crazy but it really did go great!

I am 4 months pregnant, and had a severe toothache in my wisdom teeth. I had schedules an appointment with my regular dentist, but the pain was so severe, I had to make an emergency rush to Dr Vdovichenko to Avalon Dental which was opened near our house not long ago. From the front desk, to being in the chair, it was the best experience I could have asked for. I wish I could make them my regular dentist!

Dr. Prokupets was fantastic. She was extremely gentle and precise when working with me and took the time to clearly lay out all my options with some minor procedures. She made my visit peaceful and pleasant. The office is very bright and clean and there was no wait time. My teeth are the cleanest and whitest they have ever been! I will certainly be back.

What I like the best that I can plan my schedule in advance and never have to wait when I visit my doctor. The staff is pretty kind and Doctor Svetlana is the best caring Doctor Ive ever met.
