Seriously I cannot believe my eyes when I read the bad reviews from yelp and other places. What people need to understand is that this office is not made up of one dentist. This place is made up of many dentists and each dentist can be requested. I want to give my testimony about this office: THEY SAVED MY TEETH!!!!!! My whole life I never took care of my teeth so it got into really bad shape. I was also AFRAID to go to the dentist, even for a cleaning, because of previous experiences with horrible dentists. Ever since I came to this place, the professionalism, patience, skills, and knowledge of the dentists Ive dealt with at gentle dental saved my teeth. I LOVE them dearly for that. Dr. Yee and Dr. Ligita: absolutely amazing!!! They make me want to go to the dentist again! How is that even possible? But here, I really do love my dentists. I really cant thank them enough. Dr. Kirill Kilmashov: Removed my wifes 3 wisdom teeth, and 2 of mine. Amazing job, PAINLESS. very skilled. Receptionists Katherine and Lidice are really nice, friendly and welcoming. Talking to them makes you forget that youre in a dentist office. Please be aware of dentist in the name of Julia. She is jumpy, always moving around rapidly and unexpectedly, kind of crazy eyed. She was working on my wife for a cleaning, but then she stuck the instruments into my wifes gums and caused it to bleed. Then my wife was crying. Julia asked my wife, "I will do deep cleaning, do you want me to keep going or stop?" Are you serious? With deep cleaning, the dentist have to inject numbing agents into your gums. Julia was seriously going to put my wife into a world of pain!!!!! Again I want to stress that its the dentists you encounter that gives you good or bad service. People depend on other people who has been there and done that to give you some references. People cannot just go somewhere and roll the dice because you might get a bad dentist like Julia and then you judge the entire dentist office on one dentist, one experience. Dr. Yee, Dr. Julia, Dr. Kirill Kilmashov, are absolutely amazing group of dentists who saved my teeth. Please stay away from dentist Julia because she will destroy your teeth. If you plan on getting dental work done, give this place a try. This place is not just a dentist office for me, theyre like a group of great friends, ready to take good care of me. Thank God for this place and these great people.

I just came back from a routine cleaning, and I can only say I will never go back to Gentle Dental in West Roxbury again. I had one bad experience with a very rude hygenist in the past, but was willing to overlook it when the staff offered to reschedule my last appointment at no charge with Lisa, who was great. I called several weeks ago to book my 6 month appointment, and asked to have the hygenist I had last time. When I showed up I was greeted by someone new. This hygenist was very short with me. She wanted to use some sort of device to clean the plaque from my teeth that I had never seen before. It was extremely uncomfortable. I am 8 months pregnant, so my gums are especially sensitive, and this instrument just felt too uncomfortable. I politely asked if she could use the instrument I was accustomed to. Her reply was very curt "I can use whatever you want, I can use my finger, that doesnt mean you are going to get a good cleaning." I replied, again very politely, that Id prefer the traditional instrument that Im used to. She responded that the next time I come in I should see the hygenist I am used to. I explained that thats who I thought I would be seeing today. She became defensive, stating that she didnt write down the appointment. I smiled, and said "I know, when I called I requested to see the hygenist I had last time, so it was just a mistake at the front desk." She proceeded to clean my teeth in a way that I can only describe as violent, absolutely no regard for my comfort whatsoever. She then moved onto "polish" my teeth. I am used to this stage of the cleaning lasting 5 to 10 minutes. She "polished" all my teeth in about 30 seconds and dismissed me. And the price tag on this pleasure? $92 It was such a mistake to go back to Gentle Dental. I dont even feel like I had my teeth cleaned; I just feel like I was completely disrespected, and then robbed on top of it. If you have a choice, I recommend going somewhere else. I know I will next time. One bad experience is forgivable, but two or more is a pattern, and Im done!!

I got lured in by a cheap offer and as new Bostonian (close enough anyways :) ) I needed a dentist. I dont have anything positive to say about this dentist practice. The "offices" are worn and shady looking which gets worse by the poor spoken english by the employees. I am a foreigner myself and English isnt my first language, but even I would like to require medical professionals to speak English fluently. It is fairly upsetting to get things done and only understand half of what is said (I got "sign waiver", "half sided facial paralysis" and "or we cant continue" while already prepped). Furthermore they seem to have no radiation ethics and will happily blast you with X-rays to earn money on their overpriced and poorly looking pictures. I for example needed them to clean a sore wisdoms tooth and the arrogant dentist wouldnt even look in my mouth before X-rays were taken of upper and lower molars, both sides, including a full panorama. 5! X-rays seems very extensive for a cleaning, especially since I two months before already had the molars taken, but they were somehow lost in the filing cabinet. $200 later and my wisdom tooth hasnt been cleaned and I am no better off. A friend of mine went there too once. Got rude treatment, lots of X-rays and never returned. Find somewhere else! Dental issues are never nice, but at least find someone you trust to work on you. You and your money deserve better.

Embarrassingly I had not been to the dentist in many years. I have always had a fear of the dentist and the work it entails. My sister recommended I go to Gentle Dental in West Roxbury where she is also a patient. I made an appointment for a consultation and was very pleased with all the staff beginning at the front desk, to the techs, to the hygienists, the doctor himself and even the oral surgeon who I unfortunately had to see for extensive work. My fears were eased the first time I called to make an appointment by the staff at the front desk and then by the hygienist who was wonderful and very gentle. I am in the process of extensive dental work and thus far am very pleased with my experience. My grandmother always said: "Be true to your teeth or theyll be false to you!!" Lol! She was so right! I would recommend Gentle Dental for any of your dental needs.

My introduction to Gentle Dental in West Roxbury was due to the praise sung by my Mother, a patient of Dr. Madani. I followed suit for regular cleanings (by the hygienist Ligita) and soon became a fan of the truly gentle dental work and friendly environment. I recently became informed that I needed a crown. Having minimal dental work done previously I was somewhat nervous and concerned about possible pain. Dr. Rozanski performed the work effortlessly explaining each step of the procedure with patience and professionalism. The support staff and front desk are very knowledgeable and always courteous. I would highly recommend Gentle Dental in West Roxbury to anyone seeking affordable and excellent dental care.
