7 years ago there was a lump on my dog, the doctor insisted surgery was the only way to know what it was. I was young and didnt have the money. There are a few times Ive brought my dog in and its always gonna need more testing or surgery. Everytime making me think we was gonna die over night. Like when he broke a toe nail. I know its possible for a dog to bleed out if it goes up to the wick enough, but they presented as a fact, not a possibility. Anytime i have gone to tufts per the doctors suggestion, I pay a ridiculous amount of money to get services that arent actually emergencies. When a second lump appeared, again I was told surgery was the only way to know. I went to the VCA. They did an asprite for $70 and told me my dog had cancer. He had cancer for 4 years go undiagnosed because this vet doesnt have the capability to do an asprite. I admit i could have sought a second opinion in the beginging but i was 20 and completely new to having a dog. The staff is nice and they have always treated my bully breed respectfully. BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER RESOURCES TO PROPERLY DIAGNOSE YOUR DOG.

HORRIBLE! I would never take my dog here again. They were completely unorganized....I had given them all of our info over the phone beforehand and had my dogs records faxed over. When I got there, they claimed that they did not get the records, but after insisting that I had it faxed, they realized that they had it! Then...they charge a crapload of money for a blood test. And then...I wait almost a week for the results and decide to call and find out whats going on. The person who answered states that they did get the results back but the Dr. had been busy and would call me later. An hour later, the Dr. calls and tells me that she is very concerned with the levels in my dogs liver and kidneys and proceeds to tell me that I should have all of these other tests run. Are you kidding? I was assuming that there were no issues since the Dr. was not in a hurry to get back to us with the results.....my vet from our last home was fantastic and I hope I find another fantastic one in this area because the Southbridge Vet Hospital should not be allowed to work on animals!

I called in hoping that would help my pet dog a small Taco dog she has long extended nails and scratches herself all the time, I feed her good Dogfood but I am a Disabled Vet and i ask if they could do a charity clipping or a post payment. NONE was offered in fact they where cold and HEARTLESS! They did offer suggestions on clipping myself but her nails are so long I am concerned about Bleeding and Infections not to ention she may need a pain suppressant. I pleaded with them as they said its $82.00 all charges plus tax. I implore you all who reasd this. Check your wallet and purse make sure your Credit Cards are at least Gold! Platinum would be better. These types of money hungry People dont deserve our Business especially VETERANS! Boycott this Veterinarian and pass the word. THEY DONT CARE! If your pet is bleeding they WONT help you with out the green. Cheesy people! Disgraceful! I would pay if I could but "THEY WILL NEVER GET THEIR GREEDY HANDS ON MY PETS! EVER"

Dr. S is wonderful. She is smart, obviously loves animals, her job, and manages us owners well, too. She is well read, and keeps up on recent information. The office is organized (probably since the turnover in ownership) and support staff is great. I found her informative and her information was based in concrete information. I strongly recommend her office, but dont tell too many people so I can get an appointment when I need it!

Small, clean, caring staff, very friendly and will listen to your concerns. Being new to the area, we read the reviews and thought NOT FOR MY DOGS! But, we spoke with locals and they are very happy with the hospital, staff and doctor. So, we gave it a try. NO COMPLAINTS HERE! We were happy with the service we received and the way our pups were treated.

First, we were received graciously. Next, a "tech" did a general checkup and the dog got lots of loving attention during the process. The doctor came in and did a thorough exam. She was most friendly. All in all, the experience was cordial, and, of course, our dog got what we feel was excellent care. We will come back.

Prices are okay, but the doctor is rude and you get the feeling she doesnt care about your pet
