My husband and I recently adopted our precious dog Maddie from a shelter. Her backstory is quite sad. Before coming to our home, she was used as a puppy factory by a breeder down south and discarded. We immediately fell in love with her and thought that since she had spent her whole life making babies, it was her time to be the baby and be given the type of life and love she deserves. We were in search of a veterinarian when we stumbled upon this wonderful gem. They say first impressions mean the most. For Dr. Vickrey and her amazing staff, this rings true. When we came in for the initial appointment, we were pleasantly greeted and felt very welcome. The office was very clean, organized, and bright. One of the techs, Kelly, was very kind and friendly. You could tell everyone loved what they were doing. Dr. Vickrey answered all of our questions and addressed each of our concerns regarding Maddies condition. Overall, she confirmed Maddie was in good health. Due to mistreatment by the breeders, however, she required many teeth extractions, likely caused by her chewing on her cage and complete neglect. Thankfully she now has a wonderful doctor to make sure she gets the proper medical care and a family who will love her unconditionally. They were very transparent about treatment costs and presented the min/max estimate range. We never felt pressured in making our decisions. We felt very confident that Dr. Vickrey and her staff would take wonderful care of our precious fur baby so we immediately scheduled her dental surgery within 2 days. This gave us some comfort in knowing that Maddie would eventually not have to suffer anymore with her mouth pain. Before leaving the office, we were given all of her pre-op instruction and preventative medications. On the morning of the procedure, we were greeted by another lovely tech named Ashley. We were a little nervous so Ashley took the extra time to sit with us and help put our minds at ease. Dr. Vickrey came out into the waiting area and went over the procedure with us in detail. You can tell she wants only the best for our newest family member. We trust and value her years of experience and guidance with our Maddie. Later, Ashley called and indicated that everything went well. Given the fact that Maddie was under anesthesia for a lengthy amount of time, they requested to monitor her until they closed, which was reassuring to us. When we finally went to pick her up, we were happy to see our baby with her tail wagging and to hear that she had already eaten. They took such wonderful care of Maddie, who even made a new friend in the office cat. Ashley went over all of the post-op instructions and made us laugh with her wonderful sense of humor regarding her x-ray techniques. She is such a joy and you can see why she is an asset to their team. Then Dr. Vickrey came in and went over the details and answered all of our questions. We couldn’t be happier. If you are looking for a veterinarian for the first time or if you are looking to switch, we highly recommend Dr. Vickrey and her staff. They are honest, kind, professional, and have mastered their craft and will treat your pet as their own. You will truly feel they are a part of your team in raising a happy and healthy pet. They are simply amazing!

The staff at Westford animal hospital were there for us when our beloved 3 year old cat was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer that could not be treated. They were compassionate, professional and understanding. After one of the most horrible days my family and I had to go through in our lives, during which the staff was VERY respectful and gentle, we received a hand written card from them, saying that theyre thinking about us in this time of loss. The staff that helped us each wrote a beautiful message. I never had to go through this before, so I dont know if this is a common practice, but this card really touched us. I am very thankful for how thoughtful these people are. Other than the good experience we had with them while our cat was still healthy and alive, they truly showed us their humanity and compassion during these last few awful weeks.

We have been bringing our 2 dogs to Dr. Marshall and his staff for 5 years. Throughout all sorts of issues including ACL repair, various infections and illnesses, and even an self-inflicted glucosimine overdose (she thought they were treats), this staff has gone out of their way to give our dogs the best care we could hope for. Unlike some vets who want to run every expensive test they can just to increase their bottom line, WAH suggests or recommends test, but is sensitive to the owners finanacial situaiton and will let you know when a test or proceedure may be delayed if possible. They are truly about caring for the pets as well as the owners. We moved a distance away from Westford, and tried another vet closer to home, but immediately went back to WAH, our pets are worth the extra distance to give them the kind of care that WAH provides.

I dont have a problem with the Vets here at the hospital - I have been brining my cat here for 9 years - heres the thing - My cat needed medicine which was being held at the front desk. The receptionist would NOT bill me for them - not even give me enough for the 2 days I needed to come up with the $71.00 charge in order to walk with the medicine my cat desperately needed. I spent almost $200 (paid in full, since thats there rules) the day before... I have never been delinquent on a charge - but it was all about the money. FINALLY, Susan, the receptionist, who is NOT warm and fuzzy, BTW, called Dr. Marshall and he approved the billing. I felt helpless and felt it was all about the money and not the well being of my animal. I am going to look for another vet. Very turned off . All about the money...

I moved to Westford about a year ago and needed a vet for my 14 year old. She needed dental surgery and I am so happy I chose to bring her here. Dr. Vickery and the Staff were kind sweet and caring to my pet and the surgery went great! She had to have a lot of teeth removed in her old age and now she is playing around, purring and clearly not in any pain. I was so impressed with the care she received I brought my other cat a 9 year old Male for a check up as well. While a suggle bun at home, he is quite the opposite of sweet when it comes to exams. He will strike at will. Once again, but in a very different situation, Dr. Vickery knew how to handle my pet caringly and safely perform the exam. Lucky to report he is in great shape and I have found a wonderful vet!!!!

I have been going to Westford Animal Hospital forever - and have and would recommend them to everyone- I have seen Dr. Vicik -whom we loved very much - but with my work schedule and her hours - we have become a patient of Dr. Vickery - I have come to trust her completely - she is extremely knowledgeable and so willing to work hard for whats best ! My sweet Jake was not well - she quickly diagnosed him with major food allergies and mast cell disease - a major overhaul change in diet and daily allergy meds - and he is now thriving better than ever - Thank you Dr.Vickery and entire staff ! I couldnt be happier with the care ALL my boys receive at Westford Animal Hospital
