Dear banfield of Woburn, we have moved from Jacksonville, Fl where our banfield down there was spectacular! Unfortunately our dog got hit by a car eariler this week and we took him to mill clinic in Arlington (They were amazing) luckily he only suffered some cuts and was bandaged there and sent home! We scheduled his next bandage change at banfield 4 days later as recommended by the vet. After they had him for 6 hours they called and said he was ready to be picked up. The price I was originally quoted for a simple bandage change was $45, however when I picked him up my total was $99, when I asked they said $45 was just to remove his bandage. So I paid the bill (not like I had an option) and they brought out our dog. His bandage was done terribly especially in comparison to the one he had on when I brought him there, his underside was soaked in urine including his new bandage which is not supposed to be wet! I brought him home, put him outside to let him go potty and when I brought him back his bandage had already slipped down exposing his unhealed wounds! I had enough at this point, called the clinic where the receptionist/shift leader becca was completely rude, basically telling me that what I was telling them was not true and that I could bring him in for a new bandage but it would be another $100! Not impressed, I called mill brook clinic and asked if we could bring him in for a new bandage, they got him in the same day, a 20 minute appointment and $35 for removal AND new bandage. We are currently canceling our plan and switching clinics for our dog and 2 cats.

I brought my puppy in to Banfield because his ussual vet was closed and my dog had been limping for two days. The vet that we saw left us feeling confused and uncertain of our dogs condition. She did not have any definative diagnosis and used lots of uncertain terms like, " I think," "possibly", "could be", "maybe you should...", "might be", and other terms that made us feel that she was not knowledgable in her field. She also seemed quite nervous and slightly rushed even tho the receptionist had told us that we were the only appointment for the entire afternoon. She mentioned that she could not tell if the dog was injured because he was too tense and gave us the option to sedate him to give her a better idea. Looking for a definative diagnosis, we agreed to the sedation. We returned a half an hour before she told us to and she informed us that she did not fully sedate him because she would have to stay late to monitor him. She also said that with the partial sedation my dog was still too tense to tell if he had a knee injury. So we left with no more information than we came with

If you are looking to bring your pet to a vet where this is poor communication, lousy service, and inadequate staff, then picking this place is the best choice for you. The staff is useless, and I will not be bringing my pets there ever again. My dog was spayed there and I was never called to say there were issues and also not called when surgery was complete. I was told after the fact that there were complications during surgery. Fortunately my dog survived but once surgery was over, a courtesy call to explain the situation would have been nice. I was given a short version of what happened and sent on my way with my dog. The staff always appear like its their first day on the job. I have since been to a different vets office and everyone not only is friendly and happy to be there, they actually know what they are doing and know how to handle dogs that are potentially nervous about being at the vet. I would not waste a single penny going to this place.

To say I was nervous about bringing my dog in for surgery was an understatement. I was recommended to come to Dr Buzz ( I dont know his real name, but thats how hes known). I was already teary eyed when he walked in the exam room. I dont know how else to put it, but he put me at ease almost immediately. He showed me diagrams and was so thorough about the procedure I feel I could have assisted! My dog isnt the friendliest (shes in pain a lot) and he was respectful of distance and tone. I cant say enough good things about the treatment I got from the front desk, and his assistants. I met with another doctor there (lady) to give me a quote before I left. The doctor (not desk help) called me to tell me how things were going! Which further put me at ease. I love the fact that they are right in a pet store! One stop shopping/treatment! Dr Buzz bed side manner is what YOU want for YOUR pet!!! I highly recommend him if ever your pet needs a surgeon

Called to make an appt for my puppy thats having an issue. I did get the appointment. But the staff on the phone were condescending/rude. I ended up cancelling the appointment & taking my dog to a local vet that is more expensive but I rather not deal with grumpy people. I myself work at an office & understand people call all day, you deal with nasty people & obnoxious calls ALL day. But all it takes is a tone to turn people off. Bad day or not it still comes down to how you treat people. & Its sad, cause Ive only had my dog for about a month now & Im still looking for a primary for him, so you lost a potential new patient.

This location is horrible. My dog was scheduled to be spayed and they called the day before and cancelled because they were low on oxygen. I was a little concerned but decided to reschedule anyway. The day came and I dropped my dog off in the morning and waited until 11:30am to hear anything about how she was. It turned out their anesthesia monitoring machine was broken and they had spent all morning trying to fix it but they were unable to and therefore could not perform her surgery AGAIN. This was the final straw for me with this location. They cant seem to maintain their equipment properly and it is not worth the risk.

Awful, if youre looking for no communication, or relationship with your vet, this is a place to go. They use stuff on your plan without your permission, when there is a time you do need it you get " oh sorry the last time you were here we decided to give your dog a physical, that went along with It". You try to get an appt and all they have to offer is a pet drop off. The vets seem like theyre inexperienced,The staff has zero communication skills, very rude! I think they shut down the wrong Banfield, this place is terrible! Not even worth a cent!

If you want to get bill for unnecessary work and a false diagnosis, go here. If you want a real vet go some where else. They have no clue what their doing and gave me a bad diagnosis. I ended up going to a vet who actually knows what their doing. They are only good at DIGGING IN YOUR POCKET!!!! I wish I could of got my 300 hundred dollars back. Make up problems that never exist and put my dog to sleep for nothing. Dont walk away...RUN!!!!
