Doctor Bonine was much to busy trying to get his canned consultation out, to answer our questions. We were charged $100.00 for this "consultation" (if you call listening to someone mindlessly rattle off a routine, consultation) We made an appointment for 10:00AM the next day before we left the office around 6:30PM , we were the last ones there and they were closing the office. My wife decided she wanted a second opinion and called at 7:30AM the next day (as soon as they open) to cancel the appointment. When she went to get the xrays that were taken they charged my wife and extra $100.00 for the appointment she cancelled when she came to pick up the xrays. No one explained to us that there would be a fee for cancellation when we made the appointment and it was made at closing time one day and cancelled the next day as soon as they opened. I was very disappointed that they gouged someone who wanted a second opinion like this by basically holding the xrays hostage for and extra hundred dollars. It was obvious the cancellation did not cost them any time with another patient and I thought it was very unprofessional to charge someone extra because they wanted to get a second opinion. I would not recommend him to anyone, If he needs $100.00 so bad he will gouge someone for wanting a second opinion, then there is probably a good reason he does not want people getting a second opinion and I dont want him working on me or my family. GOOD surgeons UNDERSTAND sometimes people want a second opinion and frankly, I dont think GOOD surgeons are so hard up for money that they need to gouge people!

Lets start with the professional care I received at Dr. Bonines. I had surgery for three implants at one time. My initial appointment to assess my needs and discuss options was very helpful. Dr. Bonine patiently answered my questions and used actual models that I could see and touch to illustrate the options. I appreciated his passion for the benefits dealing effectively with missing teeth. The instructions to prepare for surgery were thorough. When I arrived for surgery, the staff was efficient and reassuring. The care I received during the whole process was excellent. It took several months before the implants could be capped. My dentist was very pleased with the implant work and the caps look great. Absolutely no problems. In two follow-up appointments to Dr. Bonines office, I was greeted warmly by the staff. Again, Dr. Bonine was ready to answer my questions. In addition to the professional care I received, I found Dr. Bonines careful attention to environment a fascinating approach to medical care. The office is in a natural setting. The dental chairs face floor to ceiling windows that look out on a pond and a large wooded area. Faint music carrying the sounds of nature adds to the soothing atmosphere. Colors throughout the office are muted and the staff seems to purposely work with a quiet, friendly calm. If you are looking for quality dental work and a quality experience, I would recommend Dr. Bonine.

When I went to Dr. Bonine for the first time, I was horrified by his assessment and treatment plan. I would need 9 implants, physical therapy before the surgery, and crowns for the implants. The cost seemed outrageous. Yes, he did seem arrogant and all business. However, I decided I could afford the cost, that my health was worth the investment, and that I did not need to concern myself with his personality. He was going to fix my teeth, and his reputation as a surgeon was all that was important. He was exactly right about the therapy. After a few sessions the migraine headaches and back pain that had impacted me since I was a child disappeared. Without the pain, my quality of life improved 100%. He finished his part of the implant process today, and while my jaw aches a little, it was not nearly the production I had worried it would be. After only a few visits I very much liked him as a person, and I know that there is no better oral surgeon anywhere nearby. He did an excellent job, and his staff is wonderful. They are highly qualified, efficient, and most importantly they are compassionate. He has invested in educating and training an exceptional group of people to support his work. The bottom line is that he is a top notch surgeon, his staff is wonderful, and the location is perfect. Thanks to all of you for fixing my teeth!

Dr. Bonine and his staff are simply excellent. They are throughly professional, accomodating and understanding. He and his staff do everything possible to explain the diagnosis and procedure, to understand the patientss needs and concerns, and to reduce patient anxiety. On top of that, they are positive and compassionate, which is an untangible but real plus for anyone facing oral surgery. His preparatory and operational procedures are extremely efficient, and as pain-free as can reasonably be expected. Dr. Bonines professional dedication and long-term commitment to the local community are well-known to anyone who lives in the area, as I do. His facilities are first-rate and the surrounding grounds are beautiful: they are obviously designed with a patient-centered philosophy in mind. For those interested in architecure and landscape design they are truly worth a visit, even if an appointment is not needed. I would find it difficult to account for anything but excellent reviews of Dr. Bonine, but I understand that some people will never be satisfied. Based on the vast majority of positive reviews below, any negative reviews are clearly the exception. I would give Dr. Bonine and his staff very hign marks.

Excellent doctor and excellent staff. My 5 year old daughter suffered a serious injury which included knocking one of her lower teeth out. My daughters primary dentist was unable to fit her into their schedule. Dr Bonine made a special trip into his office so that he could take care of her. His professionalism and skills are top notch. He was kind and patient and was extra diligent to address all of her fears. He carefully explained the treatment plan and not only talked to us (the parents), but also took EXTRA time to explain the treatment plan to my daughter in a way she could understand. As a result, a lot of her fears were set aside, and she felt as comfortable as possible with what needed to be done. I feel we were extremely fortunate to find Dr Bonine AND his staff. Michelle, Linda, Beth, Christina, Jennifer... not meaning to leave anyone out... all of you who were involved in our care, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

This was the worst experience I have had within the medical field. The professionalism and patient curtesy was more than lacking. There were many points at which this doctor ignored certain procedures and followed up with even worse reactions. Generally when your uncomfortable or in pain it is a standard procedure to raise an arm, this is common practice for hundreds of dental institutions, however what followed was being verbal accosted for making my dentist aware of the enormous amount of pain he was putting me in, which was never warned. The following proceedings stacked up higher with a higher bill, a price gouging tactic used to deal with apprehensive customers that you dont want to serve. Overall Im still in pain, upset for how I was treated and I hope that I can save someone else the discomfort, emotional distress and an overwhelming feeling of being worthless. By far the worst experience I have ever had.
