Arrived on time for a 1:20 appt. Filled out lengthy electronic forms, got called back to a triage type area, where she proceeded to ask me the same questions that were on the forms I just filled out, then she turned around and used some paperwork to start killing ants that were crawling up the peeling wallpaper onto a window sill... then she realized that she had written down my weight on one of those papers she used to kill the ants and had to retrieve it. I was taken back to a room where a young female PA came in to see me and asked me about my car accident... I have not been in a car accident, she then asked if I was "Ms. Johnson", ummm no, but nice HIPAA violation there. So she left to go see "Ms. Johnson" and never came back. 1 hour and 20 minutes later I went out and found some other employees to ask if I had been forgotten about. 20 minutes later, at 3pm, she came back into my room and asked why I was there, I told her that my PCP and cardiologist had sent me to the hospital for double vision and this was a follow up visit for that. She told me that shes sure my condition would be the kind of thing that will be fine and to come back if it happened again, but then thought to ask me why someone so young has a cardiologist, and asked if I had anyone in my family with cardiovascular or stroke issues. All I could think was WHAT?! I have an extensive cardiac history both personally and with my family which was all documented in the paperwork I filled out and in the hospital reports. Then she started asking if I ever had a very specific blood test, I told her that Im not sure but with my history I probably have, plus I just got out of the hospital where I had extensive blood work. She wouldnt back down, she demanded to know if I had this precise blood test and I couldnt get her to understand that I didnt know the answer to that. Finally I made a simple suggestion to her... why didnt she try CHECKING MY CHART?!?! So she agreed that was a good idea and left the office to go print out my chart. 15 minutes later she hadnt come back yet and I did something I have never done in my life, I grabbed my stuff and walked out of the doctors office. I passed her in the hall and told her I was leaving and she looked shocked and said "I was just printing out your information". I cant imagine why my information wasnt printed out already. I cant imagine why someone was killing ants with paperwork that contained my weight. I cant imagine why I had to suggest to a PA to look at my chart if she had technical questions that I couldnt answer. Perhaps if this woman actually looked at my chart ahead of time she wouldnt have came in and asked me about my "car accident" and called me by the wrong name. Perhaps she wouldnt have been baffled by why someone so young needed a cardiologist. I was in your office today for 2 hours and 10 minutes before walking out at 3:30pm. Your office had no respect for me or my time, and you did not know or care who I was or why I was there so I wouldnt have trusted a single determination coming out of the train wreck that is your practice anyway. Shame on you, your patients deserve better. And for goodness sake, get an exterminator in there.

An absolute terrible experience at this office. Well, only the first office girl that we spoke with had a very pleasant attitude, but ALL other office staff acted as if we were interrupting their day. Gosalakkals accent was SO thick, we could barely understand what he was saying. The tech that performed the EMG for my daughter was awful. She actually seemed to enjoy watching my teen daughter struggle through the test, crying in unbearable pain with each and every point when the tech amped up the shock level for every area. Finally, I refused to allow the tech to test any more areas. Then she lied to my daughter telling her the doctor would only tickle her arms and legs with a needle, instead of stabbing her with them. Even though this last part of the test was minimal in discomfort verses the tech shocking her. The tech was not present while another doctor (the facilities owner I was told) performed this portion of the EMG but she left the door slightly ajar and I noticed her standing outside listening to us telling him about the techs behavior, until I closed the door on her. Dr. G also requested an MRI and lab work, and we decided to have those done offsite, sending the results to his office. I have had to call weekly, trying to find out any results but keep getting the run around. Now a month later, I am still trying to get the results of all this testing. My daughter is traumatized from this whole experience and doesnt want to return but the office is telling me they WONT give me any test results without my daughter present. Ive requested that the office forward their test results to our family doctor, but that also is going nowhere. I recommend anyone needing a pediatric neuro, find someone, somewhere else. My own neurosurgeon and his staff are awesome, so I know a better experience certainly is available .

I wish there was no stars. Because that is EXACTLY what I would give them!!! Your staff is VERY RUDE!!! The hold times are RIDICULOUS!!!!! Dr. Goncarlo is a WASTE! He is VERY VERY VERY RUDE! I had my 1st appointment he asked "Why are yoiu here?" and I said "Because I have a bad back" and he said "Dont we all" I couldnt even respond to that! His bedside manners HA! He has NONE!!! I waited 31/2 hrs. in the waiting room then 2 hrs. in my room. NEVER EVER have I had such a HORRIBLE experience! I had my nephew with me it was HORRIBLE!!! Then a Doctor Anew she is an ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!! My daughter was with me and my daughter pointed out how when I was talking to Dr.Anew she twisted her head to the side and looked at me like I was some foren object and like I was stupid! When I call the office manager HA! That is an ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!! The office manager I have left her message after message after message. She NEVER called back! Why do they pay her to be an office manager when she DONT do her job!!!!!! This place is SOOOOOO UN PROFESSIONAL!!!!! SOOOOOO MANY HORRIBLE DOCTORS THEY LACK IMPATHY, BED SIDE MANNERS AND BRAINS!!!!! I DO have to say Dr. Debbie she is AWESOME!!! That is ONLY 1 out of 20. They pass you around to DIFFERENT doctors all the time!!!!!! How can you establish a relationship with your doctor when you have no idea who they are going to send in? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is slander!!! I AM LIVING PROOF!!!!!! For the doctors that are MISERABLE they need to resign!!!! Doctors are supposed to be kind and understanding and compassionate and have some bed side manners NOT the doctors here!!! IF people are looking for a GOOD pain clinic they are NOT gonna find it with Michigan Neurologist!!!
