This hospital is horrible. I wish I would have read about it sooner. My mother actually died about the same time the other review was posted. It has almost been a year and Im still upset. She developed sepsis from being in this hospital. She was admitted for a back injury and she died in that horribly creepy place. They tell you its a good option but its not. They kept her on high dosages of pain medication so she was hallucinating, and her phone (which she couldnt reach, and she wasnt allowed to answer) had games downloaded on it. The day of her death there was porn downloaded on her phone. I have a video on youtube a couple days before she did saying they tortured patients. We were in the midst of having her moved when she died. This place is horrible. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not send your loved ones here. I wish I knew before it was too late.

This was my first time being a patient at Kindred Hospital and the care I received was great. The staff was great, the rehab team gave me excellent rehab sessions, the medical staff were very professional and went above and beyond when it came to making sure everything was good. The staff really seem to work together as far as when it went to making me their priority; everyone worked proficiently together and worked as a team. My patient advocate even made sure she checked on me daily and made sure there werent any issues or concerns that needed to be addressed; she was a very beautiful and pleasant young lady and her spirit and positive demeanor kept me uplifted. I was nursed back to a healthier condition than when I first was admitted and for that, I am very grateful and appreciative.

I feel that this hospital really has saved my life. When I first was admitted here; I was told that if I did not use my bi-pap machine on a regular bases that there could be a possibility that my life would be cut short. I received lots of love and care while being a patient at Kindred hospital Detroit. The respiratory staff was great, they did everything possible as far as giving my respiratory treatments, checking my pulse ox, and just checking on me daily. I slept good, I ate good, and I really dont have anything to complain about. The only downfall is that I wish that I couldve gotten more rehab but other than that, the therapy that I did have was great. I am happy with the care that was given to me and Im thankful for everything.

Should you use Kindred Hospital Detroit/Triumph Hospital? It depends, If you do not care about your family members and want them to die then this is an excellent hospital. This hospital is dirty, unprofessional, and unable to preform even the most basic levels of care. After being here for 7 days my father developed a staph infection- no doubt from the aides that "forgot " to wash their hands. But the worst thing was that someone- a nurse, an aide, a quack- accidentally pulled out his central line and instead of removing it or professionally re installing it they simply shoved it into his skin so it was not even in the vein. Thank GOD for his actual doctor at Henry Ford who caught this.

The medical staff was the best staff I have ever encountered and I would definitely recommend this facility to everyone I know. I want to give props to Nicole, Lauren, Dina, Angela (Patient Relations), Kimberly, Joyce, Donna, my Case Manager, Lulu, Maurice, Priscilla and all the rest of the aids and RNs, that I cannot think of their names right now. I really enjoyed my stay here, had fun and really enjoyed going to the gym for physical therapy; they really know how to work you out there. The food was excellent and dietary gave generous portions of food; the cooking chefs were great. I am really thankful for everything.

I am very impressed and pleased with the care I received while being a patient at Kindred hospital. There are a lot of attentive, caring, friendly and pleasant workers. There was always someone checking on me from my nurses to the aids to someone in upper manage, etc. The care was great, everything was given promptly, my rehab sessions were good, pain was kept under control, housekeeping kept my room spotless and all in all, I had no issues or concerns. I appreciate all that was done for me, and would recommend this facility to anyone seeking medical attention.

this is not a hospital per say. patients are sent here for rehab and dialysis from other hospital. the facility is understaffed, and over worked, i used to be an employee there and it could have been better? the type of patients that come there are require experience nurses. most receive serious pain management and the nurses are either inexperienced, or have a heavy load of patients and can not meet the needs of the patients in a reasonable time. i would not go there for treatment and would not refer my family or friends to go there.

The care overall was excellent because they take good care of you. This is not like a nursing home, this is a specialty hospital that has helped me get well and I cant wait to get back home. RN Denise and LPN Charlene was very nice to me and always asked me if I needed anything or needed help. I was very happy with my stay at Kindred Hospital.
