I got the information for Dr. Smith in Garden City off of my insurance website. I called to make the appt. and asked about Garden City but somehow was scheduled out in Detroit. My autistic son and I sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half, to be told they couldnt verify my insurance and either I pay cash or he couldnt be seen. So we left. ( funny enough my son is in several therapies and they have always been able to verify). Move on to the next visit, which was in Garden City. We showed up for our appt. as scheduled, to find the therapist waiting for us in her car because the case manager forgot to leave keys to the building. I figured I would give this place one last chance and agreed to another appt. tomorrow. I just received a reminder call and was told $30 copay for every visit. This is no biggie. I knew about that, but then I was informed I owed $45 to them for past visits. WHAT MY SON WAS NEVER SEEN AND IT WAS YOU GUYS MISTAKES. The receptionist told me she would speak to the supervisor about it and they will probably drop the charge. NO THERE IS NO PROBABLY TO IT!!!!!! When my insurance sends out statements they better not have charged the insurance company for 2 visits he couldnt be seen. That would be fraudulent. They will drop the charge and will see my son without prejudice. Receptionist says she will have a supervisor call but it has been over an hour. Apparently they do not find this as important as I do.

This place is an absolute JOKE. If I could give negative stars I would. Why even post your "hours of operation" on the door? You are NEVER there during these hours. My husband went to pick up a release form at 3pm and NO ONE WAS THERE! The hours of operation on the door states you are open until 5pm and online it states that you are open until 9pm?!?! The waiting room is disgusting, half the time the lady at the front desk allows her little children to run around all over the place. And dont even get me started on how many times we showed up and had to wait outside (after the 8am open time) in our car or in front of the building to get in and seen, but DO NOT be late even 1 minute, they will call you and chew you out! Ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE!
