Bad communication! Good luck getting someone to answer the phone, give the Dr. your messages, refill your prescriptions. Bet bet is to find a way to directly connect to the doctor of your choice without any of the nurses or clerical people being involved..Patient porthole would be great but it took me 8 tries and over 3 weeks to set up my family of four. I kept having code password problems and whatever..It probably has improved, this was when it was new. Now that it is finally set up it works much better than leaving messages. Dont leave a message, they get lost or are sent into another world somewhere!!! Personally I just gave up and found my healthcare out of the U of M system.. Too bad I loved my Dr. just couldnt get over all of the office mistakes! Now my mother is experiencing the same thing and I feel bad because I recommended her to go there!

I love the care I receive at this office, the PCP I have is wonderful! She takes her time with you and makes sure all my questions are answered, and if she doesnt know she finds out for you. If I need meds she goes out of her way to find ones I can afford. When I call and leave a message for the nurce, she always calls me back. I am very pleased with the care I receive at the Dexter Family Medicine Office.

I love Dexter Family Health Center, especially Dr. Christa Williams. Great service! I feel like a real person there and not just the next patient. I am never rushed and my questions are always answered. If I had one complaint, its that you cant just walk in for blood draws, they want you to make an appointment. I like them so much that I can work with that. A++++++++++++++++++

Ugh! Expect to wait at least half an hour before being seen unless your appointment is the first of the day. It would be great if, when the office knows your doc is running late, a call could be made to let you know itll be a 2:30pm appointment instead of being left sitting from 2-2:30 thinking about everything ELSE you could be doing instead of sitting in a waiting room.

We love Dexter Family Medicine! My entire family sees Dr. Williams. She is an amazingly skilled and caring clinician for patients of all ages. The entire staff from the front desk to nurses and medical assistants are phenomenal.

Do not recommend. This office is unable to support demand of patients. As I work none stop like everyone else in life. If anything ever goes wrong they are never able to see you in a timely manner and tell you to go else where.
