I needed emergency care for an abscessed tooth that was creating horrible pain. My regular dentist office took two hours to get back with me and I was heading out of Dr. Cabells office when they did. I needed someone now after spending the weekend in tooth hell. Since my dentist was not getting back to me I looked online for someone else close. So I let my fingers do the walking online and found Dr. Doug Cabell. Called the office and the said they could see me right away. When I got there they were waiting for me and promptly started work. The Cabell team, from the front desk receptionist, to Shelly the Docs assistant, gave me phenomenal help. Doc Doug Cabell was very informative and most importantly a very skilled dentist that relieve my condition. I now have a new dentist and could not be happier that they were there for me!!! For approximately 30 years or so, Dr. Cabell has been my dentist, and Margie, my hygienist. The fact that Ive seen the same dentist for so long, and look forward to each visit should be testimony enough. They know me, they know my children, we laugh (boy, do we laugh), they are all just the friendliest group of people. They know what theyre doing; along with the laughter, they are wonderfully professional. Dr. Cabell has explained every procedure he has performed on my teeth and on my childrens and every procedure has been performed with kindness, gentleness, understanding and great expertise. My children are adults now and look forward to their visits every bit as much as I do. Thank you for being best dentist we could hope for!

My dentist of 25+ years moved his practice and left me with the horror of finding a new one. My wife really liked hers, so I took the chance and saw Dr. John. The experience was fantastic! He did a couple of cavities, crowns and a root canal over several years. No pain! Happy Jim! Then Dr. John announced that he was retiring and cutting back on his hours. Ugh, fate strikes again. He asked if I would consider seeing his son, Dr. Doug. Sure, what doesnt kill you makes you stronger, right? Dr. Doug was great! If I had my eyes closed I would not know who was working on me! If you are looking for a dentist you cant go wrong with Cabell Family Dental Care.

Ive been going to Dr. John for over 20 year, love the staff. Now I have been seeing his son Dr. Doug. Dr. Doug replaced my front tooth crown his father installed 10 years ago and did an excellent job. He is a very personable and competent dentist. Im glad he is carrying on the family practice. Going to their office is like going to a family reunion. Also, after enjoying the fish tank in the waiting room for all these year I found out, six months ago, Dr. John is the fish guy that keeps the tank going. Wonderful place to hang out. Needs a guest WiFi though.

Had a wonderful experience with Cabell Family Dental! I had Doug Cabell (the son) an he did a really great job with my dental work. He communicated all that he was doing and was quick and gentle. I really dread going to the dentist, but Dr. Cabell and the staff made it as easy and painless as possible. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the area for kids and adults!

I have been to both Dr. John and Dr. Doug. They are AMAZING! I struggle with severe anxiety disorder and Dr. Doug got me thru what I NEVER thought I could do! I was in the chair for an hour and a half, comfortable and pain free. What a relief. The results are perfect!! Staff is patient and professional. Look no more bc this is the place to go!
