So this was my first dental experience in a long time. Im fairly self conscious of my teeth and was nervous about going to get a painful tooth looked at. My sister and law recommended I try Dr Patel after my first visit elsewhere was uncomfortable and outrageous. I called last minute and immediately got an ok to come right in as I was in pain. The lady at the front desk checked me in and called to sort everything it with my insurance, something the other place put on me, she then told me they would handle everything and I would owe nothing for the day. Dr. Patel himself was awesome. He made me feel very comfortable, walked me through what was going on and what needed to be done to take care of it. They scheduled my root canal in a timely manner with a mobile specialist, prescribed my pre meds and hold over pain killers, all while giving me, a frankly unbelievable, price. The root canal itself went well attempt 2. Im extremely nervous and resistant to anesthesia so attempt 1 I could not get numb. Throughout all of that Dr Patel and Finot provided great care and comfort. Attempt 2 was great, I was comfortable much less nervous and things went well. I now have my permanent crown and have not been a bit scared for either of my followup appointments. My mouth feels better and Im on the path to proper dental care. I highly recommend this office if you are scared or uncomfortable at the dentist. The whole team is great! Special shout out to the assistant? who was in on my procedures and did a lot to help with my discomfort, you are awesome!

I didnt have a regular dentist but I do now!! As much as I hate the dentist and this ended with 3 teeth extracted I had the best experience!!! I had a major toothache and called them as a walk-in and new patient. They fit me in immediately. Check in was a breeze and I sat for all of 1 minute before I was back in a chair, x-rays done, speaking to Dr. Patel and pain managed. Due to my dental insurance my portion for emergency extraction of 3 teeth was a bit more than I could afford. I was prepared to walk and hope for the best but they wouldnt let me. They worked with me for the payment and Dr. Patel stayed along with 2 other ladies in the office and the office manager to take care of me. I never felt pressured. I never felt like I was rushed. They truly cared and were concerned for me. I will definitely refer anyone, even those not in the Buford area to make the switch to Buford Family Dental. Customer service was amazing. Professional. Clean. Dr. Patel and staff truly changed my mind about the dentist. And gave me hope that there are still doctors and dentists who are not out for money. They truly care about their patients. My Review On Buford Family Dental - Suwanee, GA -Good afternoon everyone. I just wanted to post a quick review of this particular dentist office. I typically dont go as far as to write some sort of review but they certainly deserve one and people around the area deserve to know about them. Ive been to Buford Family Dental 3 times in the last month for a few fillings, a cleaning and a bleach (whitening) procedure. Each time I went everyone was very nice and did whatever they could to make sure all of my questions were answered. When I had a concern about something they would make sure to give me all the information I needed. Dr. Ravi Patel is one of the nicest dentists Ive met. He made sure to explain everything to me prior to anything being scheduled or taking place. He explained everything to me in a way where I could understand what he was talking about. Hes just a really nice guy ! Overall, Id highly recommend Buford Family Dental to anyone in the area looking for a dentist office to visit. You will certainly see the excellent work they do, as I did, within your fist visit there. Thank you to everyone there ! Ill see all of you soon , -Colin L.

I came in for a cleaning right before my braces were to be put on and this establishment attempted to hoodwink me. I was initially quoted $59.99 for a cleaning over the phone. However, after coming to their office and speaking with the young man at the front desk, I was then quoted $230 for a cleaning provided I had periodontal disease. At that moment, I realized that they deliberately miscommunicate information to get you in the door. Against my better judgement, I scheduled an appointment. While being examined, the dental hygenist poked and prodded at my gums to assess "early on periodontal disease". I hadnt had a cleaning in a year and a half, and was informed of no cavities, yet the hygienist managed to not only find several, but told me I would need $3200 worth of fillings and cleaning before getting braces. Ive run this by three different hygienist and one ortho I know and they all laughed and said its likely they were weasling for money, rather than that much dental work actually being required. I do not trust this establishment and would strongly advise those contemplating to visit them as a great RISK.

My experience at Buford Family Dental was incredible and I truly encourage you to make the jump to Buford Family Dental! It had been years since my last visit to a dental office due to being incredibly discouraged based on previous dental experiences. Every step along the way from establishing my appointment to my follow-up was personal and truly felt like I mattered. Dr. Patel and his staff were extremely professional and took the time to properly review your needs, along the way, they will explain everything step-by-step on what the issue is, explains what he sees, and answers any questions you may have. He is very patient and will explain what the issue is and what is causing it, and how to prevent it in the future; his main focus is your overall care and experience. The staff has an in depth knowledge of handling dental insurance and billing; the payment process was incredibly quick and easy. I have already recommended several family members and friends to make their next dental visit at Buford Family Dental and I would recommend you do as well!

I could never say enough about Buford Family Dental! It had been over a year since I had been to the dentist. I was really concerned with finding the "right" dental office to fit my needs. This place is it! Check-in is easy. I barely sit down before my hygienist, Sharon, comes out to get me. Sharon does an amazing job making you feel comfortable! She listens intently to all of your concerns, does a stellar job assessing the causes of any issues you are having and ensures they are addressed before you leave. Dr. Patel is very professional and takes the time to properly review you, explains what he sees and answers any questions you may have. I also love that he explores all care options with you and is not about seeing how much he can hit you in the pocket, but rather your overall care and experience. In my years of moving around, Buford Family Dental is the best place I have been, hands down!

Ive had bad experiences in the past with dentists. So going into my visit to repair a broken tooth left me extremely anxious. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly by the front office staff. The check-in process was quick and I was called back at the time of my appointment (hard to believe I didnt have to wait an hour LOL). David, the dental assistant, was amazing. He must meditate because his calm demeanor enveloped me and I was instantly at ease. Everything was explained prior to any procedure and if I felt any discomfort they stopped until I could compose myself (I was a bit of a wienie) and they could continue. I was in and out quickly and no worse for the experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel and his staff for your dental needs. There are no words to really express how good this practice is.
