I came here after going a couple of years without a dental visit. Genetically, my teeth arent awesome, so I usually need a filling or two. While I will say the staff was VERY nice- I was still hosed. They took digital x-rays and showed I had 5 cavities and another 7 "watch areas". They offered to fix the 5 a month or so later when an opening came up. I went in and had 4 filled- they changed 1 to a "watch". I also had to come back the following day due to my bite not being fully fixed (but I was told I was too numb the day before and it was probably fine). Fast forward about a week. I start having pain on the side where they filled 3 in a row (top right). I cant drink water. I cant chew anything. Nothing hot and nothing cold. Even lukewarm liquid sends a sharp pain through my mouth on the right side. I had NO pain prior to these fillings... I moved out of state and immediately went in for a check because this was not normal. My new dentist found 2 cavities and showed me via x-ray (old school ones, not digital). Neither of these cavities were mentioned of the TWELVE teeth Eastside said were worrisome for me. He then went on to look at my Eastside x-rays and explained digital ones can show a lot of "dark spots" and false positives if you arent careful. While he cant determine if the 4 that were filled were real cavities before (VERY hard to prove) he was able to compare x-rays and show several of the other areas Eastside said were an issue were in fact FINE. Upon further examination- my nerve has been damaged from the work Eastside did. I now have a root canal and am getting a crown due to their work. The current dentist says he sees it all the time- dentists do WAY more than needed for money or maybe some twisted sense of power. Needless to say, I have been in pain since going to Eastside. I should also mention Eastside said a different tooth was most likely in need of a root canal- that was checked by a SPECIALIST... and guess what? Its totally fine and healthy. do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. Ask for second opinions. And shy away from digital x-rays. I could have saved over $1000 if I had known this place didnt live up to the reviews. Like I said, nice people...but I wouldnt be too trusting.

Having not been to a dentist for two years, I was worried about what condition my teeth would be in. Dr. Shabana Erattuparambil (Dr. E) and her staff were all very friendly and polite, very professional. Dr. E was very thorough in her exam and I felt she demonstrated a great deal of competency. She took the time to explain what she found and provided options. Her assessment revealed much work to be done. After consulting with my insurance company, she was able to provide a very reasonable estimate of what I would need to pay. All in all, a very good experience. She had the week earlier helped my Mother-in-Law with a broken tooth which need attention right away. She recommended that she see a oral surgeon for the best results considering my Mother-in-Laws age and conditions surrounding the problem tooth. Dr. E recommend an oral surgeon who was listed in my Mother-in-laws insurance. That experience with Dr. E was our first and it encouraged my wife and I to make appointments to be seen by Dr. E and her team. My wife also reported a very positive experience with Dr. E and team at Eastside Dentistry.

My family of four, including two children ages 6 & 7, have been to see Dr. E for two years now. I have implants and through her thorough exam saw that I had implantitis which led me down a much needed path to get this fixed. Even though I had to wait for a while to be seen (30-50 minutes usually), she spends time with you and does the exam and cleaning herself which is so helpful. She is careful and observant. She also has a nice office and excellent tv entertainment (on demand HGTV for me and Netflix for the kids) which makes a dentist visit better. Its also located next door to a nice Publix which is helpful.

I must say that hands down, Dr. Shabana Erattuparambil is the most thorough dentist that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She has a sweet humble spirit, but she exudes knowledge and skill. She did a wonderful job of cleaning my teeth and pinpointing any issues and providing affordable solutions. I have gotten my teeth cleaned every 6 months since I have been an adult and I am now past 35 and no one has ever cleaned them as well as her. Thanks Dr. E., I am a lifetime customer.I will also be switching my children to her practice...she is that GOOD!!

I am satisfied that I have finally found a great dentist. Very insightful and professional team. I seem to have a magnet for finding technical dentist, which does not always mean they can solve your specific dental and health needs effectively or holistically. I believe a great dentist should have a certain finesse even artistry...bridges, filing, crowns, sculpting, the application of the the numbing medicine and technical ability. Thanks Dr. Shabana Erattuparambil, DDS and staff.

To be honest, each time I come in I find myself waiting a long time in the actual examination chair before any work begins. Also I have found the "cleanings" to be quite uncomfortable. On a positive note, I am relieved that there is no hard sell there. I am given the honest condition of my teeth. Normally I walk out with no unnecessary return visits.

Expect your appointment time to be double or triple booked. Show up early or youll be waiting upwards of a hour. Ill be looking for a new dentist that is more respectful of their clients time.

Weve been here an hour since the appointment time and STILL have not been called to the back. Ridiculous.
