I ended up at the Accelerated Rehabilitation Center in Royal Oak because of a rotator cuff injury. Having the staff of Accelerated Rehab work with me has honestly been one of the most pleasurable experiences of my life. It seems odd that I would say that about working through a painful injury, but let me explain. Not only did the exceedingly competent staff of Accelerated Rehab address my immediate concern of shoulder pain due to impingement, but they also gave me quite an education regarding the function of the shoulder joint and surrounding area, and clued me in to other issues I had (including "forward head" and posture issues) which had not yet created a painful problem for me. They showed me exercises to address the muscular imbalance which I had developed due to my program of weightlifting, which had placed too much emphasis on chest and anterior deltoid development at the expense of posterior deltoid and upper back development. My time with the staff of Accelerated has shown me how to work out in a smarter way, so that such imbalances can be corrected. The staff is extremely sharp and knowledgeable, as well as being very courteous and accommodating. I cant give them enough praise in this regard. Additionally, they did not take a "cookie cutter" approach with my injury. They gradually incorporated new and different exercises and therapies as time went by. While some of the exercises were quite challenging, I inevitably left the session feeling better than when I had arrived. My shoulder mobility (flexibility) has also improved dramatically during my time at Accelerated Rehab. I give them my highest and most enthusiastic recommendation!

Personally, I worked with Jennifer and Sienna and found both to be knowledgeable and proficient at their jobs. Jennifer would often ask me how I was feeling during a session which made me feel like she cared if something was hurting me. Even the other staff members would ask how I was or comment on how much I was improving which is nice to know they are all engaged with their surroundings and that they care to notice. The facility was clean and had up to date equipment. The environment was up-beat and always had great tunes to make what was kind of a bummer, more fun to do. Their was always chatter among everyone too so it kind of kept my mind busy and sessions seemed to fly. Unfortunately, I had the perfect storm of coming upon my busy season at work, a sinus infection and a death to contend with during my time here. They were always able to accommodate my busy life but you do get out what you put in and I, of course, would have benefited had I been able to make it to more sessions. However, after checking my balance, range of motion and general improvement, they "graduated" me yesterday and gave me exercises to do at home. I really like that they knew that I had more sessions on my ins that were 100% covered and they are "use or lose" and still didnt pressure me to use them. Makes me feel like they arent just out to make a buck...or maybe they were just "over my rescheduling" ;) Overall I would definitely recommend this center to someone in need of PT. Great job! Thanks!

I had the good fortune of being able to work with all the skilled therapist and technicians. I can not say enough good things about how nice and talented the entire staff was throughout my plan of care. They did more than treat my injury. They were professional and personable putting my mind at ease with the doubts I struggled with early in my care. I have a job as a physical therapist assistant. Being on the other end of receiving care has renewed my love for my job and has made me a better therapist. A sincere thank you to the entire staff!

The staff at Accelerated Physical Therapy is AWESOME and they do a fantastic job. They are ALWAYS professional, courteous, on time for their sessions, and they posses a fun sense of humor(which really makes the time fly). I honestly could not imagine going anywhere else for treatment following an injury. The entire team that works here is outstanding; and I hope their boss appreciates them as much as the patients do. Accelerated helped me relieve the neck pain I was experiencing. Everyone from front desk staff to the therapists are the sweetest people. It takes a certain type of person to help others heal pain and the staff at Accelerated are the best folks suited for the job. Thank you Heidi and Jen most of all for getting me on my way to being better. I will miss you but at the same time so happy that I wont see you because I am healing.

The employees are all welcoming and knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions, and they were able to answer them all confidently. It was fun getting to know all of the employees, instead of sticking with the same person every time. I also felt they were very professional with keeping personal information private from other clients. The building is kept clean, and the equipment works well.

My experience with Accelerated was a great one to say the least. The staff as well as the treatment was top notch from start to finish. Everyone one was extremely kind and helpful throughout the enitre process. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Heidi was phenominal and really took the time to make sure I was taken care of from start to finish. I couldnt be happier.

I have been to Accelerated Physical Therapy twice to treat injuries caused from running. Each time they have been professional and thorough in their evaluation and treatment, and really go the extra steps to make sure you are healed. The staff is friendly, are current on the latest treatments, and really customize their approach to each person.

I just completed a 12 session rehabilitation for knee surgery at Accelerated Rehabilitation in Royal Oak. Heidi and the staff were great. Very helpful advice and meaningful and productive work outs. I am no longer in pain and I feel great. Always friendly and on time. Easy to schedule appointments. I highly recommend Accelerated Rehab!

I have been very impressed by the staff and facility since my doctor referred me to Accelerated. The staff is tremendously helpful and attentive. The care has been excellent and compassionate. They are very organized and have worked seemlesslly with my insurance company and referring physician. The facility is very clean and modern, as well.

Cianna worked with me on my lower back pain. I I truly cannot ask for More. She knows what she is doing and she cares about her patience.
