I first came to Bright Side Dental for an emergency root canal. Due to a bad experience and general anxiety, I had not been to a dentist for several years, and I was in an incredible amount of pain. They were the only office in a 50 mile radius that agreed to help so late in the day on a Saturday, even though they were getting ready to close. When I got to the office I was impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were gentle, very conscious and considerate of my anxiety, and took the time to explain everything that needed to be done to resolve my dental issue. After my procedure, they gave clear directions regarding pain and antibiotic medication. My doctor followed up with me personally to make sure I was doing well, which I appreciated more than they know. I am always well taken care of by these dentists. Even though their office is a considerable distance (2.5 hours) from my home, I continue to come back for all my dental needs due to their expertise and the caring nature of all the staff. I cannot see myself going to another office. The range of services available is impressive, but the doctors and assistants are what make this place the best dental office around!

While the hygenist was sort of rude and unprofessional, I think she genuinely cared. She was very hard on me because I am young and my oral hygene was very poor. But nonetheless, I didnt entirely appricaite being talked down to for 45 minutes. The doctor I saw was very gentle on my mouth when she examined it, which was cool, but not only did her helper write down the wrong diagnosis on my teeth at least twice, but the doctor was to call me three weeks ago about whether or not it was possible to remove my wisdom teeth without causing nerve damage. She never called. She also tried to sell me a flipping 650 dollar bite guard and when I told her I would never be able to afford it she did not bother to tell me anything about cheaper options, even though there are plenty, including having a professional bite guard made online for 200. I understand making money but when I straight up say I cannot and will never be able to afford something that expensive, at least work with me. It took three visits for them to even bother to tell us about the health credit card and the receptionist was very rude.

I cant even describe how impressed I am with the staff here. My son, whos 6, had a broken tooth which resulted in in him needing fillings. He was very scared, upset and inconsolable... until the girls were able to gain his trust and make him smile and they were able to take care of the tooth. They went above and beyond for him. I will never take them anywhere else. My daughter, whos 3, just had her first cleaning and loved every minute. Tonight, I brought my son back in, and he got nervous and began to cry because- he saw 2 people hed never seen before. They found one of the girls he saw before and she came back early from her break just to make him feel comfortable. He was all smiles and happy to be there! Happy to be at the dentist! The Dr. was fantastic, as usual and even another girl he knew from before came in to say hello to him. I could go on and on talking about how wonderful they have been to my kids. Do yourself a favor and start going here. Seriously!

I had my first dental examination and cleaning at Bright Side this past January. Both exam and cleaning utilized state of the art equipment and were very thorough. I was also fitted for a bite splint which, unfortunately, I found too hard for comfortable use. Dr. Danyal addressed this issue in a subsequent visit by ordering a softer splint at no charge! I had the same problem with a bite splint from my previous dentist who when told it was too uncomfortable to wear said, essentially, tough luck ... not what I wanted to hear as splints are very costly and not usually covered by insurance. While charges are very reasonable the most welcomed aspect of Bright Side are Dr. Danyal and the staff who are not just outstanding practitioners of the dental trade, but are genuinely friendly and accommodating to the patients needs.

I received information from Metlife stating that DDS Robert Bice and DDS Leslie Powell were in my network. So I called the number listed, which goes to Sunny Side Dental and made my appointment. What the office does not tell you is the practice was bought out and the do not accept Federal METLIFE insurance. Instead of telling me this and their billing office lying to me I had to pay 800.00 out of pocket because DDS Tiffany Danyal was not in my network, which I am still trying to pay off. I will say Ms. Danyal is a wonderful dentist and we really wanted to stay with her but the last conversation I had with their billing staff is they will not fill out the paperwork to become part of our network and it was not their responsibility to let METLIFE know the practice had been bought or transferred owners.

I got lucky - in severe pain for several days I decided to google search a dentist in the lapeer/clarkston region and liked what I saw on the site. Called and got in that afternoon. Thinking I needed an implant, Dr. Danyal said she thought she could save the tooth to the point of getting a crown instead - and she did! Saved me $ and time. And she and the staff stayed late until 8:30 that evening to get me the root canal (not a problem!) and temp crown that were necessary. Great downtown Clarkston location too. State of the art digital x-rays too. No more film, hoping they turn out right. Take the picture and it instantly appears in the room on the monitor. As she works she can check progress easily. Highly recommended.

AMAZING!!!! Staff at this office is very professional, nice and welcoming. They make you feel very comfortable. Amber and Katelyn do amazing job and id have to say best assistants Ive ever had to deal with. Angie is always there if you need any information. not only is she nice on the phone but even better in person!! Dr. Danyal, i dont even know where to start. She makes your visit so incredible that youll always want to come back. she makes sure that youre not in pain, that youre educated on what she is doing and makes sure that your visit at her office is always positive. This is by far the best Dental office Ive been to and i recommended it to everyone i know. Thank you for making my experience amazing and pain free!!

I was petrified to go to the dentist, and as such, I havent been to one in many years. I let them know this up front. The office building is "homey", not so clinical, which made me feel more relaxed just walking in the door. Everyone is so friendly. During my xrays and cleaning I was continually asked if I was doing okay. I was! The dentist is very reassuring, explained my treatment options, and answered all my questions. I am SO glad I found them. How glad? Im willing to set my alarm on a Saturday of a four day weekend for a follow up appointment.
