This dentist is great and quick with extractions HOWEVER I went in because I knew I had to have a cavity due to the reaction to hot sauce I had never had one in my 25years yet and knew there was an issue I being ignorant did not think there was any reason to think twice about anything they said was wrong and signed the paper work to have 2wisdom teeth pulled a moler pulled instead of a root canal and then I was told I had a obnoxious amount of cavities they did x rays took me back and filled almost all my teeth with an exption but the very front top and bottem My jaw was in shock I ate protein shakes and oatmeal through a straw for nine days then finally on day nine forced my jaw open with my fingers (it was literally locked in a certain position) About two weeks later I went to a different dentist for a shooting pain when ever I clampted down while chewing she spoke broken English and told me I need my other xrays and also took some as she looked at them she was laughing I asked why and she just shook her head and asked me to bite on this paper then told me she needed to file the fillings down because they were clumped in I let her do as much drilling as I could tolerate and had to pick up my kids and left about a month later my tooth became abcesess for what reason Im unsure my whole face swelled up like a volley ball and was in the worst pain of my entire life the infection went into my sinus cavity and had to have surgery The reason Im wrotting a review now is because Im having such terrible pain now and theirs a hole in my moler and looking up dentists and their reviews Im not sure how Much of this is my fault or the dentist but I do expect anyone who has taken a hipicratiatic oath to atleast take a look at my mouth after multiple return visits explaining I was in the worst pain Ive ever felt in my life I have to microwave ice cream and cereal and let it get soggy I can not eat anything too hot I brush my teeth with warm water and can not eat anything super crunchy AT ALL My ex hired an attorney for the issues he had but my story is quite a bit to read in itself Please Dont be ignorant like I was do your research ask questions I really feel inside that I was wronged one tooth was bugging me not every single one and even if I gave him benifit of the doubt there are still some things I question in my head Ive had a few other problems but these were the most severe The wait was not long at all and everyone was friendly

The first time I visited Fireburg was great, as dental clinic visits go. The doctor that worked on me was gentle, careful, and diligent. He did is job quickly without rushing, and hes the only reason this review is two stars instead of one. My second visit a week later was an absolute nightmare. I got in the back room fast. After getting prepper for a wisdom tooth extraction, and completely numbed up, I waited about an hour to for the doctor to show. This time the dentist attending me - I suspect it was Fireberg himself - was the exact opposite of my first visit. He was constantly rude to the nurses working with him. He was impatient, as though he had better things to do than actually deal with his medical practice. He worked quickly and carelessly, a couple times the drill hit my gums, and he ground my to sharp jagged edges before slapping in the amalgam filling (which fell out in a matter of days) and packing it in such a manner than left many patches of tooth exposed while also cementing them all together. Then came the extraction. He jerked my head back and forth trying to get a better look, before beginning to drill away at the tooth. When it came time to pull it, it would not come out as expected, and he spent ten minutes alternating between using the drill and yanking hard on my jaw, muttering angrily the entire time. By the time it came out with a sickening and splintering crack, my lower jaw ached despite the amount of numbing solution. He promptly pushed the instrument tray aside, quickly mumbled a list of instructions, tossed a plastic bag of gauze my way and was out the door. I assumed he had somewhere to be, but when I left twenty minutes later he was in the hall snapping at a nurse. Think Ill let my lower jaw rot off before I return here.

03/14/2017. Went to the dentist on 02/28/2017. They did not clean my teeth, but, may have charged Medicaid for a cleaning. They did not use the same quality extraction tools, as I recall being used in the past. Also, the dentist and assistant were very rough. I received very painful anesthetic injections, that were far more painful than I have ever received from a dentist before, in my life. The dental assistant kept pinching the metal handle of her tools against my lip and teeth. This was very painful. She said, "Oh, did I get your lip?" I muttered, "Yes". She said, "Okay, Ill try to be more careful." Then, she tightly pinched my lip, in between my teeth, and her metal tool, again, again, again, and again. Four more times, even when I tried to remove my lip from her clutches, she would wedge it, again. What suffering! I wanted her to stop, but she wouldnt. When I told them that they were hurting me, they did not care. The dentist said, "Well, youre going to have some pain.." When he removed my tooth, he pulled and yanked so hard, that the pain radiated to my right ear! I told him that he was hurting me, but, he did not stop. He did not seem to care. When he finished, he just walked out of the dental room, never to return again. He worked on only one side of my mouth. Now, Im still in pain, and am having issues with the filling that was placed on another tooth. The filled tooth was not bothering me before I arrived. But, now its in worse condition than when I arrived for care. Im traumatized, and Im too afraid to go back to get it fixed. So, I canceled todays repair appointment. I need to find a safe place to go to, fix the damage done.

Very scary dentist. I have Medicaid, and with this dentist they will treat you terribly. I had a root canal done at another dentist, came to Fireburg to get the core filled. Ive never seen a dentist work so quickly as if it were a race. I didnt get the crown on my tooth right after but within a few weeks it cracked. He also filled a few other cavities I had at the same time. And then with my mouth being numb and not being able to really speak he filled another cavity without my consent. Also, when they use the Q-tip to numb you before putting the syringe in.... they will rub the area with the Q-tip and literally not wait and 5 seconds later theyll administer it and you will feel EVERYTHING. I understand that from my past of being a constant pop drinker it has messed up my teeth. But this dentist will sit there and lecture you the whole time, hell even bring out a mirror mid cavity fill and show you how bad your teeth are. I understand that some people feel individuals on Medicaid are using the government and lazy, but I am nice person and a hard worker. And nobody should be treated like that, its unprofessional. So PLEASE, if you have fear of dentist DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. There are other areas(for instance Grand Blanc(Smile Fresh Dental) that will accept youre insurance. I spoke with a dentist assistant at Smile Fresh Dental in Grand Blanc and she said when she had Medicaid she went to Fireburg and once she started working at the place she is now, the dentist told her that he DID NOT fill her cavities right. AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE!
