Avoid at all costs, the worst vet that we have ever been to. We brought our German Shepherd in because she had a small lump on her foot, Dr Reierson saw us and told us that the only option was to lance it and drain whatever was inside. We repeatedly ask for other options and he said that this was the only option. In addition to lancing the bump on the top he also probed the underside of the foot. After we had paid up and got the dog out to the car he came out letting us know that he had made a misdiagnosis. The lump was a benign growth that would go away by itself, but he still took the right path in treatment. We reached out to multiple other vet clinics about his course of action and they assured us that the lump could have been tested using a much less invasive fine needle aspiration. Dr. Reiersons actions were negligent and the only recourse offered has been an apology over the phone. Management has fully backed Reiersons decision and has not offered solution to make it right. Pictures attached are graphic and show her foot after 2 weeks of changing bandages twice a day and soaking for 15 minutes a day in epson salts.

My youngest daughter and I were at this pet hospital on Saturday 2/18/17, to have our family dog Blossom euthanized. We had decided and made the decision some time ago because of health issues and age. We loved our dog and this was very hard for the family to make this choice. We were initially told that there would be a $95 fee for an exam and the procedure. We were on stand by waiting for the vet. That was ok. The vet examed Blossom and we conversed about her health and our decision. The vet walked out the room for a moment and then came back to say that she could not do the procedure. She suggested that we should look to other options and gave us a pamplet of a place that would take Blossom. My daughter and I were already devastated and the vets action or inaction compounded our emotions. I was, as well as my daughter were so upset, we could not find the words to express our anger. This vet would not honor our wishes for our dog. I will not being going to this pet hospital ever again or giving any recommendations ever. BTW, out $95 for nothing!

We have been going to Elm Creek for over 5 years, and others in our extended family even longer. Dr. Reierson has been at Elm Creek for 40 years and I cant say enough good about him. He and the staff and other vets are compassionate experts in their field. Solid-reputation veterinary clinics can be more expensive than the Banfields types, but this one is worth every penny; you get what you pay for! We spent several weeks treating our Sheltie girl for bladder cancer there. We knew from the outset that her particular location of cancer was very hard to treat, but Dr. Reierson worked with us every step of the way, responding to all sorts of crazy questions and budgetary constraints. In the end, we had many more pain-free and loving months with our pet, and when the time came to put her to sleep, Dr. Reierson was there for us then, too. <3

There is something seriously wrong with these veterinarians. They are sneaky, shady, and not trustworthy. They gave my CKD cat Ketamine for a simple checkup without warning me of the damage it could do yet felt it was necessary to use even though there were other options for sedatives. I will not be bringing my cat here ever again. They are also not up to date with treatments and medicine. Dr. Croswell had an issue with me being in the room during the exam. Shady, senile women who should be far away from your pets. Disgusted.

I highly recommend Elm Creek Animal Hospital! The staff is always caring, attentive, helpful, and pleasant. All the Drs are very knowledgeable, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile. Dr. Blum is an amazing vet and a true professional. She personally cared for my dog and walked with us through each of his lifes phases. He was truly a part of the family and she treated him just as. 5-STARS

Excellent, knowledgeable staff. They treat exotic pets and were a godsend when my beard dragon stored eating and when my dad hamster had a stroke. The staff really cares about the animals, and they recognize me and ask how my other pets are by name. The waiting room is even separated into a dog side and a carry side with a door in between so your animals stay comfortable and safe while waiting.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Brett Duke for 13 years and we cant say enough great things about him. We have seen every vet at Elm Creek at one time or another and all are fabulous. Everyone at the clinic is kind, caring and professional. They take the time to explain things in as much detail as you want and help make the difficult decisions throughout your pets life.

My pet rat needed emergency care and the lovely people at Elm Creek got her in asap. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and super reasonable about the necessary procedures for my pet as far as cost effectiveness. If you have a small animal like a rat I would definitely recommend Elm Creek, they really do care about your animal and take every pet seriously!

I cant say enough positive things about Elm Creek Animal Hospital. From the moment we walked in the door. Greeted with attentive, professional receptionists, to the on schedule wait time, and the compassionate knowledgeable care of both the nurse and Dr. Jo Croswell. I will continue to use this medical facility for all my 4 legged family members.

I am been taking my pets to Elm Creek Animal Hospital since 1996 when I moved to Champlin. I have always been happy with the treatment that they give to my cats and to me. When I lost Scarecrow in 2003, they were very understanding and compassionate. I now bring my two cats there-have no desire to go anywhere else. Why, when you go to the best?

This place is slow and expensive $$$, the doctor only cared about the money. She came to me WITH A LOW ESTIMATE and HIGH ESTIMATE for my dog and had no clue what was wrong with my dog. Worst part is sitting In the room waiting for a hour and a half and listening to my dog stressed without me by her side. Inexperienced and unprofessional doctor.

Ive taken all of my animals here. I currently have 3 dogs and two chinchillas and they all have been very well cared for here. All of the vets are very knowledgeable, but Dr. Duke is the chinchilla whisperer. My chin is going on 10 years old and has to have his teeth trimmed every few months. He does so wonderfully with Dr. Duke.

They are little more expensive but they are so worth it. They actually know what they are doing with my little guinea pigs. They explain everything to me. And in the event I lose one of my babies they made a plaque with there paw print on it. I am so very pleased with this Hospital I recommend them to anyone and everyone!
