Dr. Bayrd is super arrogant. He didnt listen to me about a rash on my face because he had already made up his mind. He actually told me "if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then its a duck." WRONG. The rash wasnt my usual rosacea, it was an allergic reaction to the medication he had given me a few days prior. After my messages were not returned and his nurse told me to "suck it up" I showed up in his office and saw another doctor. SHE listened, realized I was allergic to the medication, gave me medicine to counteract the reaction, and saved me from more sleepless nights. Avoid Dr. Bayrd at all costs!

I came really close to canceling my first appointment with Dermatology Specialists, PA after reading the reviews. I am sure glad I didnt. I found the staff to be overly courteous and helpful. Much more so than your average clinic. I have experience with a lot of dermatologists and I really felt that Dr. Bender was top notch. Show up early, bring all your records (if it is your first appointment), know what your appointment is for, and be courteous. I would recommend the practice to anyone.
