- The space is beautiful, and the waiting area is perfect, even by the unrealistic Minnesota standard of "I need to be at least three seats away from another human being." Theres free coffee if you wish, but I dont think Id want to punish my dentist by downing a bunch of coffee before my appointment. - The receptionists / schedulers / accounting ladies (so far, I have met two) are both extremely polite, friendly, and accommodating. From what I have heard from other patrons resolving billing issues while I waited to be served, they are also very reasonable and calm about the billing process. Because I had no dental history since about the age of 20 (Im 33, yikes), and because my cut-rate dental insurance didnt cover a whole lot, the clinic charged me nothing for a full panoramic x-ray, which is phenomenal. - The hygienist, Sara, was so amazingly friendly and attentive. As an adult who really trashed their dental hygiene in his twenties and is finally starting to come around in his thirties, she was really non-judgmental about how badly I had treated (or not treated) my mouth. The cleanings were as pain-free as dental cleanings can be, and Sara actually instructed me in proper hygiene methods with much more detail than anywhere I had been in my youth (though I imagine this might have been them not wanting to step on my moms toes, haha). - If youve been away from dental care for over a decade, you probably need some work done. I have had two filling appointments thus far, both with Dr. Goulding, and he has been great. He works efficiently, calmly, and again, keeps things as pain free as they can possibly be. His assistant Alyssa was also really friendly and helpful. She understood how squeamish I was about needles and helped calm me for the numbing shots. As someone who was extremely frightened of "THE DRILL", I can honestly say that any future fillings wont scare me a bit. I really cant find enough good words to say about Dr. Gendlers practice. I havent met him as of yet, but all the people he has surrounded himself with are pretty amazing.

I was recently treated by Dr. Joseph Gendler at Gendler Dental Center in Hopkins, MN. I recommend his care and that of all his staff without reservation. From the moment I walked into the office, I knew I was in good hands! The office is a beautiful, state of the art facility that has a homey feel that put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. The entire staff, from the front desk to all of the dentists and hygienists, are all friendly and professional. I was treated by Dr. Gendler who is very knowledgeable and has a great understanding of his patients’ needs, which he always takes into account when deciding on a plan of action. On my visits to the office, his terrific care is always complemented by the skill and patience of one of the wonderful dental hygienists there, Ms. Tanya Fine. Ms. Fine is not only knowledgeable, but she is also kind and gentle – two skills that are critical in being a good hygienist! If you’re looking for a great dentist and a fantastic dental office, you cannot go wrong with Gendler Dental Center and Dr. Joseph Gender.

Firstly, ignore anyone who does not like this dentist because of his beautiful accent. It is an absolutely beautiful accent that many of them have and it is extremely soothing when they speak gently to you with that accent when you are scared. Secondly, their receptionists are the nicest ever. They explain things very well. I adore Dr. Gendler who made my first time root canal anxiety and pain free. Juliya was my hygienist and was very sweet to me. They both were extremely kind, gentle, and professional. Bella was there to help me figure out my finances (they take care credit) and what was going to be happening the first day I was there for just an exam to determine if I needed the root canal. She is so nice and caring and explains things so well. The office genuinely cares about their patients and I completely recommend them. I will be fixing up and beautifying my smile there for years to come.

Dr Gendler made a very difficult day for me turn out out better. I have played hockey for 50 years with no issues but as a hockey coach I caught a puck to my mouth that broke one of my front teeth and chipped the other one. I was very scared But Dr Gendler made me comfortable and went the "extra mile" to help me get through a very difficult experience. I knew I was in the hands of a very skilled professional and that eased my mind incredibly. I would recommend Dr Gendler to anyone as he really cares and "gets it" about what his patients are concerned about. Dr Gendler is my hero!

Love Gendler Dentail Center. Always on time, always friendly and always doing their best to add ways to make you comfortable. Large screen TV and even small screen above you (on the ceiling) so you never miss a thing and the dental chair is a massage chair. More important is the friendly staff and wonderful hygienist Tawnja. Attentive to details. Always great to catch up with her. Dr. Gendler is also very attentive to details , always providing all information so you can make an informed decision on treatment. I am so happy to have discovered Gendler Dental a few years ago.

Dont like going to the dentist?? Visit Gendler Dental and you will be glad you did!! The staff is friendly, caring and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They explain what is happening with your teeth (mouth) and give you options on now to win back your smile or ease any pain or discomfort. Im proof of "getting my smile back" after years of neglect and I owe it all to Gendler Dental. It feels GREAT to smile and laugh without covering my mouth. Everyone here is very friendly! They always remember me when I come in and ask how my family is. Tanya does my cleanings and Dr. Goulding and Alyssa do my fillings/crowns etc. I know it sounds cliche, but I always leave smiling. In the past I havent liked going to the dentist because they always made me feel bad about myself​ anytime I needed a filling, a crown or any other work done. Coming to Gendler Dental Center has made me enjoy coming to the dentist. I have been coming here for five years, and even after moving further away I still come back!

I am always greeted with smiles by the ladies at the front desk who are always so sweet. Tanya is my dental hyegenist and is so personable, sweet, and thorough. She is very mindful of every patients busy schedule and takes no time at all to get off all of my plaque and stains, leaving my teeth feeling so clean but also stain free. Tanya is so sweet and makes getting your teeth cleaned a positive experience as opposed to any other experience I have had getting my teeth cleaned at other dentistry offices.

Have always had good experiences at Gendler Dental. Tanya is fab, the Doctors are fab...really its all fab from the first person that greets you at check in throughout the visit. Originally moved to St Louis Park over 10 years ago and found Gendler and Hopkins location to be nearby. While Ive subsequently moved all around Mpls/St Paul metro, Ive stayed with Gendler. Enjoy my trips to downtown Hopkins, easy in easy out. I would recommend to anyone, give them a try!
