Over the years I lived in many communities and have had 8 dentists. Since I was a child the dentists told me I grind my teeth. They would clean my teeth, take care of any cavities and send me on my way. Fast forward 50 years. My first meeting with Dr Judd Heitner was a routine exam, however the difference was he took a personal interest in me. He explained to me how the grinding of my teeth over the years wore the enamel off the chewing surfaces of the teeth. He also discovered cracks in some teeth caused by excessive clenching. Using models he showed me how my teeth were situated and the effects of grinding He provided several courses of action and explained the pros and cons of each action. After careful consideration I settled on a treatment plan and we set up a schedule to fit accommodate my budget. I am happy to report that Ive completed the restoration and the results are stellar. Thanks to Dr Heitner and his fabulous staff he corrected what 8 other dentists failed to address and my teeth could not look or feel better. And the best part is that it was never painful or even slightly uncomfortable. A word about Prairie Dental staff, this is the nicest work environment with EVERYONE genuinely focused and concerned with making my experience the best it could be. Many people fear going to the dentist, I look forward to my visits at Prairie Dental. I wish every service experience I encountered was even half as good.

I would like to give 5 stars plus to the dental hygienist Mrs. Paige J, who has been not only provided professional painless cleaning, preform scaling of my teeth, but also she provided many valuable & educational suggestions regarding my periodontal disease. I had cleaned my teeth, in Canada, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and in State of MN and I had cleaned my teeth at many dental offices including Edina, St Paul and Shakopee. I would say honestly that Mrs. Paige J was the one of best of best, and she performed art work of the job.

I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Bertrand. Her sincere personality coincides with her compassion for dentistry, which is shown in her work and in the way she interacts with her patients. She engaged in conversation that made me feel more like a friend versus a patient. I recommend seeing her for your dental needs. She is a wonderful dentist who expresses a great deal of integrity.

I am a wimp when it comes to going to the dentist, but my experience at Prairie Dental Group was great. The staff was professional and the prices were less than my previous dentist. I even got to watch the olympics on a TV in the ceiling while getting my cleaning!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not a comfortable place and procedures done sloppy. They dont accept the most common insurance that the majority have. I would not recommend this place.
