I would definitely not recommend Dr Katzs practice to anyone considering a new dentist. I am trying a new dentist as I recently moved to SLP. I had the first appointment in the morning - I typically arrive a few minutes early, even without that I was kept waiting 15 minutes outside as the lights were on but no one would answer the door. I watched as two employees strolled in 15 minutes late, rushing to get everything ready. The front desk lady was great, very cheerful. However, the hygienist was not, and sadly most of my time was spent with her. She was about as gentile as an uncoordinated chimp. She had bony hands. On top of this she kept scolding me about my wisdom teeth (as if i didnt know I needed them removed), how I am flossing wrong (with the exception of regular cleanings and x-rays, I have been blessed with an essentially maintenance free mouth). I know the difference b/w feedback and being out of touch and rude. No compliments, no friendly talk. never smiled once and never introduced herself. Cold as ice. After a 25 minute wait in a the chair, Dr. Katz, was a charming guy. Nice introduction, but was in an out. I know nothing about him. Im busy professional, so having 1 hr 45 minutes waisted out of your morning due to complete ignorance will make a person write a review like this. Believe me, there are much more personable, efficient, and caring practices in the area. Sincerely, My Mouth Still Hurts

I would definitely recommend Dr. Katz. When I moved to St Louis Park I needed to get a new dentist and choosing Dr. Katz was the best decision I made. I highly recommend him.

Great overall! My wife had problem with other dentists and put off seeing one until I got her to Katz.
