I was there for annual physical but they changed the purpose of my visit from physical to something else when I asked my specific question. They should have asked me to leave (or informed me) when they realized, the conversation is going off track. When I called, they were rude and tried to pick a fight. The doctor and the higher admin person never returned my call. Also, they recommended a whole lot of further tests which are not needed according to my other doctor who is a specialist. Thank God I did not go through those unnecessary tests worth $2000 or more. Always take a second opinion before spending thousands of dollars on worthless treatments recommended by OBGYN West.

I was having so many problems and doctors from Alexandria would continue telling me my symptoms were normal and wouldnt do further testing. Thank goodness I switched to this clinic -- what I was experiencing wasnt normal -- performed couple test and had it figured out immediately! Minor surgery was performed and birth contr switched and I have Never felt better! My mom and numerous friends have switch and are very pleased with them as well! I will continue seeing my doctor (Dr. Heegaard) even though its a 2 hour drive!

After being highly insulted by 3 other gyn, I called obgyn west and made an appointment with Dr heegaard, he listened and helped me, feeling still kinda blah, but I was in rough shape when I saw dr heegaard. I will forever be grateful to Obgyn west and Dr heegaard

I went to Dr. Grootwasink after a friend raved. The doc was condescending and didnt trust me to know my own body and that the changes I was experiencing were NOT normal. If youre looking for a run of the mill, know it all doc, hes the one.

Dr. Grootwassink is the best. I have been going to him for several years. He is very knowledgeable and efficient. He really cares about his patients and has several options for health concerns. I would recommend him to anyone!
