My 8 year old son was in for an appointment, the support staff that was there to help pick my son out glasses should not be working with children. This is my sons first time EVER HAVING GLASSES ...He was very impatient did not want to show me any glasses other than what my insurance covered, did not explain or give me choices on poly lenses or anything. We got my sons glasses he fitted him, the bow goes all the way down his ear, they dont stay on his face and the lenses look like coke bottles. I also need to order him sports glasses and clearly a different pair that actually fit his face. But when I called to get his prescription so i could order lenses elsewhere. He was very short and rude to me once again when i inquired about his pupil distance so i could order this sport glasses and he said only an optometrist could do that, and REFUSED to provide me with that information? I laughed i said I am aware that an optometrist measures that hence why i am asking his eye doctor for it. Ive lived in IGH my whole life and would NOT recommend anyone especially anyone with children to go there.

Overall experience, I wouldnt come here again. I paid over $200 for glasses after insurance and got fitted for contacts. I chose this location because it was within my network and in my neighborhood. I wasnt able to schedule a follow up appointment because after my fitting the front desk was occupied and I was not able to wait. I called about 3 months later to see if I could schedule the follow up appointment or order contact for daily disposables. I wear contacts about twice a month. I still had the contacts that the doctor gave me. They said theyd have to start the process all over again. It would have been helpful to receive a follow up call or been informed that I have 30-60 days to book a follow up appointment so I can order contacts. Ive worn contacts for over 10 years and my prescription hasnt changed in 5 years. I will now have to schedule another appointment just so I can order contacts.

Missed one appointment after years and hundreds of dollars (thousands w/insurance) spent there and the woman gives me an attitude when I call to reschedule. I did apololgize for not calling when I missed but she still scolded me like a child. I always felt like they were trying to rip me off, like they care more about the money than their patients. Never going there again. Do not recommend. ALSO, their reviews on Intuit Demandforce are completely shady. Many of the "customers" write multiple "good" reviews (I.e. Eileen K), skewing their rating higher. EyeWorks pays for that Intuit service- its a total scam.

Faux Andraca

Having been in the situation of having to buy a second pair of glasses not covered by my insurance, I felt very daunted by the task. I put it off for months until a friend recommended EyeWorks Optical. I was blown away by the quality of service and advice and I never felt pressured to get additional things that I did not want or need. What I love most is how clear they are about warranties and that they provide minor repairs and such free of charge! I couldnt ask anything more for my eyeglass care. John is so kind as well!

A Private User

The service there was great, until you call them to cancel your prescription because you found a different place with the same kind of quality, but much cheaper. When I asked if they could give me my daughters prescription, they refused and said I couldnt recieve that until they got paid by my insurance. I have ran into a few others that had ran into the same problems that I did.
